Seaspray Guest House

The sea view room was lovely . Host's were very welcoming. Lovely breakfast. Bed was very comfortable for a good night sleep. Would love to go back and would recommend the Seaspray. Room was lovely and very clean and the Seaview from our window was amazing.

Full marks for everything.The location was spot on the room was top notch. Tim and Susan were perfect hosts. Nothing was too much bother. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast, fruit, cereals and a good old fry up. I was there for 3 days of fishing with the beach outside the front door life was good.

What lovely and friendly hosts, the guest house is warm and inviting. We stayed in a small front bedroom, the views out to sea are second to none. Breakfast was as good as I have ever eaten. The location of Seaspray is superb, 10/15 min walk to the harbour, along a flat promenade. Highly recommended.

Our extremely comfortable and clean room was in a very well maintained terraced house that was directly on the sea front and within easy walking distance of the town centre and buzzing harbour area. There were also amazing views of Weymouth bay from the b&b. The hosts (Tim and Susan) were extremely welcoming and eager to please. It was our second time staying there and we would have no hesitation in returning there in the future!

The perfect home from home, 5 steps and you are on the sandy beach. We stayed in room 3 the room was very clean and the artwork is lovely. The bed was very comfortable, we both slept very well. Breakfast was served between 8.30 - 9am. A lovely sea facing room with some nice views to start your morning. Breakfast was a selection of cereal and cooked breakfast of your selected choices. unlimited tea and coffee and toast

The owners of this guesthouse are crafty. I booked with ***********, they took half the payment in advance online and half the payment at the guesthouse. The day after I booked it online and payed half the payment, the owner (husband) messaged me to say that there was something wrong with my card when I know there was nothing wrong with it. He then messaged me again to say that the card was fine, I reckon they were going to double charge me with the card. The day we arrived at the guesthouse, the owner (wife) said they were not expecting any guests that day, I told her I had a booking and showed her my reservation. She then went to look at the clipboard and said ‘oh yeah’ without even apologising. Talk about rude and unorganised, there’s obviously miscommunication with the husband and wife. She then charged me straight away for the second payment, like as if I was not going to pay it. Ridiculous. After I got back from my stay, *********** sent me two emails wanting me to write a review and give feedback, I wasn’t going to but decided to give feedback. I wrote the positives and negatives as I like to speak the truth. The owner (husband) of the guesthouse then wrote to me on *********** and was not happy that I spoke the truth writing about the negatives. He then took off the review that I wrote on ***********, shows you how crafty he is and also shows you that they have a lot of control on what they can do on *********** and for this is why I don’t believe the reviews on ***********.

The hosts at the Seaspray Guest House made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived until we departed. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices to please most diets. Looking forward to returning next year!

Lovely two night stay in a sea view room. Breakfast lovely.couldn’t ask for better service. Right opposite the sea. Lovely going to sleep hearing the waves. Tim and his partner were very accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely 3 night stay at The Seaspray , stayed in the larger double Room (room 3) very clean and bed was comfortable, it does back onto a busy road and the secondary double glazed window blocks out the noise very well, however we couldn’t really leave it open in the hot weather but a fan was provided. Tim the host made us feel very welcome and the breakfast is very nice. No parking with the property so parked a 10 min walk away at the Premiere Inn which wasn’t a problem . We loved its location as the beach is right opposite and it’s a lovely stroll along the promenade into Weymouth town and harbour . We would definitely return
