Stayed two nights in a very small double room. The furniture was tired and several drawers were falling apart. The wi-fi was too weak to use and the room had no reception on either of our mobile networks. The television reception was poor. The room was basic without water glasses. Parking at the hotel was £10 a day, although they have a couple of passes for public car parks about 10 minutes walk away. The continental breakfast was cereal and toast, not pastries. On a positive note the room was clean and warm and the staff were friendly and helpful.

In simple terms, a tip. Room was not clean even though we were told it had been cleaned. Unflushed toilet greeted us and the bed was badly made and the bedding was grim and still looked unmade. When we asked where the wardrobe was we were told that a small rail just above the floor was the wardrobe. My wife’s long dress and my trousers had no chance! Despite advertising rooms with wardrobes, look at their photos and you will not see a wardrobe anywhere! The carpet outside the room was tacky and looked like it was fitted in the 70’s. The staff were not interested in our complaints and refused us a refund when we left.

Booked for a overnight stay from buy a gift and was charged £10.00 per person for a continental breakfast which we paid as extra as the stay was a present from our son. It also specified free parking. Upon arrival we found it had changed its name from Mon Ami and was now called the Jubilee, also there was a charge for parking which was £10.00. We paid this and had a lovely meal in the resturant. In the morning we found out that the breakfast was free and part of the room package so was extremely annoyed as felt we had been ripped off in owing £20.00 for a piece of toast and a coffee. When speaking to the manager and showing her your website which shows English breakfast as £9.95 per person we were told it was in fact £5.00 per person paid at the hotel. The manger when looking at the website was astonished at the prices shown, so either the buy a gift website or the hotel management don't communicate with each other or they are incompetent. Also about 4 other couples had the same problem as us. Would recommend visiting weymouth but possibly staying at somewhere who advertises the correct things they advertise .There also was no apology or compromise made.The lady on reception was so rude,unfriendly and stared me out with a scowling expression on her face throughout the time my husband tried to explain what had happened in a polite and friendly manner.The whole experience spoilt our mini getaway

Visited here for a two night stay, was extremely disappointed in the services provided. Lack of communication was key, staff need more training. Certain parts of room needed more TLC. Had sea view but was mainly of the main road, windows are not double glazed could hear everything outside. Reception of hotel is at back of building without much warning. Parking onsite cost extra. Breakfast was overpriced and lack of options. Beds were adequate. Location was ideal close to town centre and beach front. Overall would not return but has the potential to be better

Continental breakfast was not what I expected. Only toast, yoghurt and fruit. Continental should be Pastries, sliced meats, rolls, yoghurt and fruit as far as I recall as in Europe very disappointed. No shower gel - empty, no shampoo at all. Sheets do not fit the beds pillows are very lumpy and hard. Curtains were hanging off the rail. The fire alarm went off while we were in our room at about 17.10 and went out to find out what was going on only to be told "don't know". There is no way to announce what's going on also no phone in room either. Found out could have been someone smoking or they said someone's deodorant - really.
