Great little guest house, literally a two minute walk from the door to the sea. We had a larger room to the front with a good view of the beach off to one side from the bay window. The hosts were really friendly and the breakfast very good. Like a lot of the sea front properties there is no parking but the hosts can provide you with a permit for the long stay car park (about 10 mins walk away) and there is space outside to unload a car first. The harbour area is an easy 20 minute stroll away, where we sat ‘people watching’ in the sunshine with a beer. It’s also the departure point for the many different boat trips available. (We loved the high speed RIB ride out to Durdle Door). Would definitely recommend a stay at Valentines.

Lovely friendly welcome from Nick. Terrific breakfast served by the lovely Caroline. Wonderful spacious room at the top of the building with a great panoramic view over beautiful Weymouth. Table and comfortable chairs there in the bay window to rest and watch the world go by. Will go next time booking direct. Thank you Valentine ❤️

I had a great stay here, booked as a last minute replacement for another hotel that was poor to say the least. Both Nick and Caroline could not have been more accomodating providing me with a large comfortable room for the night (3). It had everything that you would want in the room whilst being presented in a homely comfortable warm manor. I would look forward to staying here again with no hesitation as soon as the opportunity arises.

Lovely guest house, with a very friendly and hard working couple. Made us feel very welcome. Stayed in room 5 which was lovely, comfy and very seaside. The only tiny negative is the location to the town, quite a walk. Lovely breakfast and able to see the sea is a big bonus.

Just got back from a 4 night break at the valentine guest house and will definitely be going back would highly recommend this one the breakfast was amazing and room very clean nick and Caroline couldn't do anything better thank you Jim and Marian x

Three night stay for a break in the routine, luckily we were offered a room at the back, so little or no noise from the traffic on the Esplanade. Shower and bath in a good sized en-suite. Proper sized wine glasses provided in the room with a corkscrew, bottle opener and mini fridge/ice box provided, as the usual tea, coffee in B&B style and if running low, we were free to go into the dining room to top up. Good choice at breakfast, and plenty of great places to eat through the day and evening. Car parking arrangements are a bit unusual - but effective! Lovely family atmosphere, (book room 1 if you can😉).

Fantastic hotel. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Perfect location and the room was beautiful and clean with a lovely view of the sea and had everything we needed. The breakfast was exceptional and did not fault! Will definitely be returning very soon.

We had a lovely stay with Nick and Caroline- just 2 nights but great. The twin room was just what we wanted and we hope to stay there next time we visit Weymouth. They were wonderful hosts and the breakfast really was fabulous. It is a great location too.
