This premier inn did not make it clear there's no normal premier inn breakfast service available. The replacement "brekkie to go" is not really the same. It is a small van outside with expensive items and not the "all you can eat" for £10. The hotel room has only 2 pillows, the room temperature was difficult to regulate, the "blackout" curtain were broken/not really black out. The room was in a poor state of repair/rather dirty. The soap dispenser didn't work, no clean cups next day, no cleaning of room between days, curtesy coffee not replaced. I wouldn't personally recommend this hotel to others.

Have stayed here previously, and as seems to be the case with PremInn in general, the quality is declining whilst prices continue to rise. As ever the staff were good but simply overworked. The Prem + room we had was superficially good with the extras being as described. However closer inspection revealed poor cleaning standards with cobwebs in the bedroom and god knows what at the base of the shower screen. The nespresso machine had a fine layer of dust evident and the unit housing the mini fridge was filthy. Putting the top hat on it all the pub/restaurant has recently closed down with no notification whatsoever to guests with a live booking. They opened a portakabin kitchen in the carpark serving rudimentary breakfasts on the day we left. We've stayed in worse but the Brand seems to be on a bit of a downslope with cost cutting evident in all areas.

Poor welcome … staff gossiping and laid out with shoes off on customer reception sofa. Advised that restaurant was closed for good…but no mention of this before booking during or after. definitely not compensated in the price of the stay!!!!! For this inconvenience … stairwells UNBEARABLY hot I nearly fainted!!! Room tatty and dirty see pictures.. breakfast from shipping container a disaster.. two staff members didn’t have any bacon, and coffee machine not filled with water.. 9.15am and charged £6.80 for this cold delightful sausage sandwich. Management didn’t want to know if my complaint and premier inn customer service via head office will only let you fill in a generic form. Not allowing photos of your troubles stay.. ah and the WiFi doesn’t work.. and you’re not near the sea either. So for the price.. my advice BOOK somewhere else!!!!

Arrived for 3 days, after booking and paying for breakfast, to be told restaurant was closed for refurbishment. We’d booked over a month in advance and had not been advised of the restaurant closure. Very disappointing. A complementry pastry and coffee was offered. We had commitments which meant we couldn’t be expected to go looking for somewhere to have breakfast each morning so the guy in reception arranged for us to have breakfast at the other premier inn. This was welcomed however had we known before hand we would have found alternative accommodation that could provide what we had booked and paid for. The hotel is tired and worn. Whilst the staff are friendly and helpful the facilities are not up to the required standard. Child’s bed had stains on the mattress cover and quilt, which I only discovered on stripping the bedding on check out.

Don’t bother going the premier rooms are the same as the normal rooms you just pay extra for a fridge and a coffee machine, the rooms are tatty, the air conditioning didn’t work and there are no windows you can open even just a crack( the 1st night reach 26 degrees) . I ruined our honeymoon

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable the staff were friendly and helpful but unfortunately the onsite restaurant was closed for refurbishment but we only found this out on arrival! It really should have been stated at the time of booking but wasn't

The lady on reception was rude and not helpful at all when checking in. The bathroom had no toilet paper on arrival and a very loose toilet seat. Two of the towels had marks on them. We have stayed here before and it has gone downhill significantly. First impressions from checking in did not help. The lady was more interested in eating her crisps than helping us.

Upon arrival we needed to request towels due to none where left in the bathroom. We had upgraded to the premier plus for the WiFi due to my wife had to work the following morning, waste of time as it was so slow she had to hot spot her own phone. When making a cuppa the kettle was awful with limescale. The bed underneath had not been hoovered. The air conditioning was not working which made the room very hot. And then to top it all when checking out an interview was taking place in the reception where everyone was passing and the manager taking the interview was hilarious with how they were conducting it. The manager on the morning shift had no interest in any of our concerns and just asked us to raise it with customer services. The only positive part was the bed was very comfortable.
