Nice friendly and very help full staff. Kitchen was not open at our time of stay but had sign saying opening soon so cant comment on food. Bands on at weekend but not intrusive and we slept fine. Would stay again we went for the seafood festival ideal location central for everything you could want.

Unbelievable… was there Saturday and the staff that were working were clearly high on ***** or drinking. Bar dripping in beer, toilets swimming in urine and water from toilets, glasses with lipstick. A short, dark haired female was rude and we won’t be going back.

Before we arrived in Weymouth we had spoken to the man in charge over the phone and he was so polite and friendly. On arrival the bar staff also seemed very polite and friendly however things soon changed. The room was a lovely size but nowhere to put our things. There was a damp patch above the wonder, the mirror had a large crack in it, one blind wouldn’t open, the other was missing and the third wouldn’t shut. The restaurant was closed on the day we arrived and we was told that we could fetch a takeaway and that we could sit in the bar and they would give us plates and folks, which was nice of them however the chairs was falling to bits with the foam hanging out of them, tables was dirty. After tea we went to our room to put the children to bed (2 and 3 year old) big two stayed up for a while. We heard shouting and swearing etc. we looked out the window and there was a couple fighting from in the bar the next minute the bar staff was fighting with the women. The next day we went out came back and our room hadn’t been cleaned, my Nan went and asked when the room was being cleaned to be told they don’t clean the room just do house keeping such as emptying bins, restocking tea coffee etc changing cups which all hadn’t been done. Whilst we went out for tea they came and emptied the bins and gave us more tea and coffee but didn’t change our dirty cups. The day after was the same my nan asked when the bins would be emptied and cups changed to be told they would come and do it but never came, by the day we checked out we had ran out of toilet paper, we was having to wash cups in the bathroom and the rubbish was now in a pile on the floor this included nappys as there was no where else to put them.live music and music was blearing out till gone midnight every-night despite the website saying they only played on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday and that the closed at 11pm. They said we could leave our cases in there office for the day so we didn’t have to carry them round which turned out to be the kitchen and they broke my nans case when bringing it back to her. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel the 2 star down the road looked a lot better. People walking past looked in like they was looking for somewhere to have a drink or food but soon turned away and walked off. Definitely not value for money and it’s definitely not a Greene king like the signs outside say it is!

Took my godson to Weymouth for the night as we have friends who live there. Was very good value for money. It’s a pub with rooms, but the rooms are of a god standard. Looks like it’s been updated recently. Beds were soft, clean and comfortable. We didn’t spend lots of time on the room but did use the pub. It’s obviously a local, which we liked. Friendly people behind the bar and friendly locals. If you like a pub stay then this is good.

The room was like a sauna as no air conditioning and the 2 fans that were placed in the room did not work properly as they were covered in dust. The bed was very soft and this meant both of us waking to feeling achy. Limited TV channels as Aerial did not work properly. When trying to check out no one around to receive the key and we were locked in a corridor with just a fire escape. When calling the tel no. it was not recognised, to be then told yes it doesn’t work currently after waiting 30 mins. Being awoken in the morning at 7.45am to shouting and swearing from the staff in the adjoining Wetherspoons. Just feel like it was not value for money at all and would not be staying there again.
