Just recently returned from a stay at The Langley. First off the hotel is a hidden gem with Langley Park and extremely secure; with a security checkpoint just outside the property with a by name list of all expected guests. Check-in went extremely well. We booked through AMEX FHR and also had Marriott Titanium Elite Status. We every upgraded to the Seymour Suite. We arrived at the property early and the staff had no issues holding onto our luggage while we went out to explore Windsor Castle (about a 20 minute drive south). Once we returned we received a tour of the property from Sam on the front desk team and our room which was lovely - everything you expect an English Countryside Manor to be. The Afternoon Tea was delightful and we thought it was even better than Claridges in London. Cocktails at the Churchill bar were also quite nice. We also ordered room service which came extremely quick and the food was delicious. We did have a minor hiccup due to a mixup in communication for preordering a room enhancement upon arrival. However upon notification, the staff went above and beyond, wiping all charges and immediately providing a bottle of Champagne and chocolate truffles with a handwritten note for the inconvenience. Other than that minor discrepancy, everything at the property was superb and we cannot wait to return. Would highly recommend booking if traveling to London for an idealic countryside escape for at least a night or two!

Stunning!!!!! We went for afternoon tea. It was honestly the best afternoon tea we have ever had. Beat the Ritz, Cliveden, Dawnsfield etc.... by a mile. All of the staff were very welcoming and very attentive. The food was full of flavour and very light. The grounds are stunning. Just an amazing experience.

Beautiful place, but shockingly poor management — worst service I’ve experienced at a luxury hotel This property is absolutely stunning, but it’s managed terribly. I have honestly never experienced worse service in a luxury hotel. It’s not family-friendly at all, and they clearly dislike guests with children — the staff were invasive and openly rude throughout our stay. I’m a Platinum Bonvoy member, so I know what to expect at high-end hotels. Through the app, they take over three hours to reply to messages, if they answer at all. Room service arrived cold, and one day they brought the wrong order entirely. ⚠️ Be extremely careful with check-out. The experience here is nothing like what you’d find at a Ritz, St. Regis, or Four Seasons. There were repeated attempts to double charge me. It took over an hour to fix the bill: every time they removed a duplicate charge, the system would add new service fees automatically — it felt like a setup to overcharge guests. My total went from £3,000 down to £1,200 after removing duplicate charges and automatic “tips” they’d added just for breakfast service or greetings. They also have ponies on the property. Upon arrival, a lady told us, in front of my 2- and 4-year-old children, that “badly behaved kids” had fed them and killed one pony, and the other was very sick. I found the comment completely inappropriate. The next day, another staff member explained that the ponies are actually allergic to certain acorns from a nearby tree (they even showed me which one), and that’s why they installed the electric fence — the story I’d been told at the lobby wasn’t true at all. Check every bill carefully. They charged one of my bills three times. The manager eventually fixed it after finding unsigned tickets they had to manually remove. They asked me not to report it and to keep the incorrect statements. When I refused, they deleted my entire 5-night stay from the system and reported to Bonvoy that we never stayed there. Once I returned home and saw the nights weren’t credited, I filed a report. Mistakes happen, but this wasn’t a mistake — this was dishonest, and ultimately theft from both the owner and the guests. The only good people where Paul and the bartender at the Winston Churchill Room — she makes incredible drinks and was genuinely kind, as well the cleaning lady.

Reception staff/Spa Staff: 5 stars Grounds: 5 star Spa: 5 star Room: 5 star Dinner: 4 stars Breakfast: 1 Star As above, the princess Marlborough suite was excellent. Cigar selection decent. Your nice and remote and feels like your in a little countryside bubble . Don’t eat breakfast.

Fabulous hotel in every respect. Had the most fantastic stay. The staff are attentive and professional, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the facilities are clean and excellent. Perhaps the only let down was the breakfast andthe main Cedar restaurant. However, would most definitely return

Stayed here twice in a short span of 3 weeks - both times in the Brewhouse. Rooms are decent sized and fairly well set up, with modern furnishing and various lighting options that help to moderate the lighting. On both occasions service was prompt and welcoming. Grounds are quite beautiful though not as large as other “countryside” hotels. For those with kids they have a playground and some pet goats. Location wise it is close to Heathrow and also not far from wonderful restaurants in Bray / Maidenhead as well as Windsor (all within 15-20 min drive). Overall I had good stays on both occasions though it is slightly expensive for what it is.

Overpriced for what is on offer particularly our twin room which was in an outbuilding and very small and furnishing aside on a par with a Premier Inn, The service was a little off hand too although dinner was good it was also at a price I am well aware high quality hotels and dining cost money but with that comes an expectation and this hotel didn’t deliver at all

Lovely place. Really lovely place. Probably the best hotel room I've ever stayed in and the staff are wonderful. Honestly can't fault it and I would have loved to go back but ... When we were at dinner, someone went in our room and did a turn down service. We came back and thought "oh that's a nice touch" but when we checked out we were given a bill for £56. £56 for someone to come in and dim the lights and make the bed. That we didn't ask for. And that we weren't told about. For £1400 a night, the turndown service should be included. It's wrong of them to impose this service and the charge upon guests. If I knew it would cost £56 I would have just made my bed and dimmed my lights myself. I have a £2k budget for my birthday next month and I was going to come back to The Langley, but throwing hidden charges at guests is disgusting behaviour so I'll spend that money at some place that has morals. Hope that £56 made you so so happy
