The rooms are clean and comfortable, nothing too fancy, but just right for a cozy stay. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, treating us like family rather than just guests. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Proper Sri Lankan flavors, freshly prepared, and served with love ,I just like a home-cooked meal. What we loved most was the peacefulness. No loud noises, no unnecessary luxuries, just simple, natural beauty. Whether it was sipping tea on the veranda, taking a leisurely walk, or having a chat with family under the trees, it felt like a much-needed break from our busy lives. For a middle-class family looking for an affordable yet refreshing holiday spot, Ahas Gawa is an excellent choice. The place is beautiful. The staff at Ahas Gawwa are also very helpful. It has a beautiful scenery with mountains. Our kid loved the place. He also loved the swimming pool which was also nice. The food was also amazing. Overall we had a good time enjoying at Ahas Gawwa

The hotel is situated in marvellous location up in a mountain overseeing the mountain range of sabaragamuwa.The staff have been very helpful from the time of inquiry till checked out Dimuth was always there whenever we wanted assistance. The food was very eye-catching and delicious. The Chef went out of his way contacting us personally. Prefer if they did have halal. Both deluxe rooms we stayed were very well cleaned. Beddings were so comfortable did not realize till dawn. It's a lovely quiet atmosphere where we could hear the birds sing, and sound of peacocks. The approaching road could be wider and better maintained as 2 vehicles cannot pass each other and the climb is around 30deg at some points. The narrow stretch is about 1 km. The wooden steps that leads to our room could be very challenging for less abled. We really enjoyed the stay and will visit again. Thank you!

Make that mountains more visible and concealed by trees. Resturant need some attraction and what i really appreciating is the calm environment without any disturb from anyone or anything . Best time to spend being isolated from every problems. Best was the pool area though it need a proper maintenance and try to arrange access from the rear aswel as the pool bench area. It was little difficult to reach the place alone the road but ultimate destination was fantastic and remarkable. Absolutely awsome and safest vaccination we have ever had 😉
