Voor het werk bleef ik in dit hotel 1 nacht slapen. Het hotel is zowel langs buiten als langs binnen zeer mooi. De kamer was heel ruim, net als de badkamer. De badkamer was proper en uitgerust met een groot bad. Achter het hotel is een feestzaal waar op dat moment een fuif van meer dan 1000 Franse studenten aan de gang was. De vrouw aan de balie vertelde dit want anders merkte je hier werkelijk niks van. Alles was zo goed geïsoleerd dat je geen overlast had van de fuif of van het privéfeest in de kleine zaal onder in het hotel. In de lounge kan je iets te drinken bestellen, dit is wel vrij duur, Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader als je in Wevelgem bent,

I was given a junior suite which is more like a large room but balcony was an added bonus for fresh air. Located near the Expo it is out of town but very convenient for road transport. Property is very clean with grat coffee at any time. Run by Vincent is always willing to help. Also recently have preordered mean brought in. Breakfast is standard fare but more than adequate. Quiet but clean, Internet very good.

The hotel location is in the heart of the city, in the afternoon and evening are filled with drinking roadside diners, very lively very peaceful. Hotel rooms are also ok, breakfast is good, all kinds of spices, all kinds of drinks, parking are available but all are charged, probably more than 25 euros, in addition, the little girl at the front desk to receive us is very kind, thank you!

This hotel is very strange, obviously booked a twin bed, arrived at the hotel and said that there is a single bed. Coming from Singapore for 5 days to visit my family and friends, I stayed at this hotel (even I was invited to sleep at my brothers or my mom homes), for the comfort ans it’s proximity to the center and all facilities. The hotel is very well situated, very clean, nicely decorated with pictures, old sewing machines and fabrics machines as the hotel is a conversion of an old fabrics factory. The bedroom was big, very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast has a large variety of delicious dishes, don’t miss the Belgian gaufres (waffles) and the abbey cheese. The hotel staff is very kind and professional. There is a car park and a place to park 1 or 2 tourists buses. There was no shampoo in the bathroom, but there are 4 hairdressers in the area that will make your shampoo and blow dry for 20 €. Just next to the hotel, enjoy a drink at one of the terrasses on the Grand-Place, eat a cake or a dessert at Pierre-Alain ( one of the best in the world) , eat Belgian specialities at La Cloche (rue de Tournai) , try the famous real French fries with mayonnaise and fricandelle (street food on the Grand-place) and buy local food on the market every Tuesday mornings.

We have booked a suite for 2 nights. It is much more dressed up room since we have used it few years ago - shortly after its opening, it has pictures, shelves and other decorative items making it look more homely in modern scando style. It is very spacious and clean and mini fridge had complimentary drinks. Windows open, we did not use aircon. I liked that it was switched off upon arrival. Temperature was comfortable, not too warm or cold. Bathroom is superb with softest bathrobes I have ever had! They even add Rituals toiletries. Parking is free in front of the hotel but not gated. As gold member I got little handwritten card with three chocolates in the room and 2 drink vouchers which I had to chase. We chose coffee which was very well presented and large glass of wine which was good quality. When I requested late checkout by just 1 hour, they wanted to charge me extra - I had to remind them it is part of my membership privilege… What prevents me from giving it 5 stars is that they have not prepared sofa bed for our teenager- although reservation was for 3 people and I reminded them in extra requests section. When you arrive on Fri at midnight last thing you want to do is to chase it. In the middle of first night, suddenly TV has switched on by itself which woke us all up! Not sure if it was some sort of stupid alarm setup or what but they should reset settings before new guests check in! Overall I would return for quality of suite accommodation.
