Lovely people, nicely renovated hotel, but no air conditioning or elevator. Top floor rooms are 35 steps up a small circular staircase. The rooms are very plain. Good location up Goethestrasse from the Dom. Hotel is very uncomfortable when it is hot out. Probably nice in winter. Our shower in our remodeled room was slippery and dangerous. The hotel restaurant is very nice, but also very uncomfortable when it is hot out.

I spent two very pleasant nights in a large, modern room with a very nice shower room in this privately run hotel and felt really good. The staff are exceptionally friendly and they obviously have a lot of trust in their guests: there is a fridge with drinks on the ground floor that you can help yourself to and then indicate what you took when paying. That speaks volumes for the owners and the guests! An extensive breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. And last but not least, the location: quiet and in the middle of the charming old town. Price and performance are more than satisfactory for the guest. It was definitely the first visit but certainly not the last! Thank you very much!

The hotel is just a few minutes from the cathedral and the old town, on a main road, but we still had a quiet room. It wasn't very modern, but it was big enough, with a desk and separate couch (unfortunately without a coffee table). Very comfortable beds. You have to be careful in the shower: it has neither a door nor a curtain - if you don't want the bathroom to flood, you shouldn't turn the water on too high. Good breakfast with delicious fresh rolls. The hotel offers a few free parking spaces, and if you can't get a space there, the friendly staff will be happy to give you tips on parking spaces nearby. If you come to Wetzlar during Advent, you shouldn't miss the beautiful Christmas market, which takes place on the cathedral square and (really beautiful) on the Schillerplatz. You can reserve a table there at www.weihnachtsflair.de - you'll be surprised!

We were the first breakfast guests after the reopening and it won't be the last time we're there. The room was very nice, great new beds. The breakfast was reasonable for the price. The service was great. You couldn't ask for more.

A completely renovated hotel, beautifully done and modern. The in-house restaurant Culinarik is also recommended. Good food, something for everyone but of high quality. The center of Wetzlar is just a few steps away. There is a park opposite.

By far the best restaurant in Wetzlar! 1. The food was really first class! 2. The waitress was very nice and competent 3. The wine was an absolute dream 4. You can sit outside very nicely 5. The restaurant makes everything itself and you can taste it 6. Price-performance ratio is perfect Conclusion: We had a really lovely evening in the restaurant! Thanks to the team! I won't go to any other restaurant in Wetzlar in the future. Small note: I would swap the red ashtrays for a couple of nice ones 😉
