Staff very friendly.
We got upgraded - or room was very nice especially for the price we paid.
There are no evening meals at the moment due to the hotel having just be taken over by a new owner and still getting organised.
Interesting shower with Japanese option.
Water hot
Clean.
Would definitely stay here again

I don’t know if your the owners or part of a chain, but irrelevant really, the place shouldn’t be running as a hotel, it’s disgusting and I can tell you, I’ve been in 3rd world countries using hostels and they are cleaner and the breakfasts better than the Jupiter Hotel, In our room the Toilet and shower were both leaking, mould around the shower glass, scum coming out of the shower plug, and paint and wallpaper peeling off the walls and doors, to add to the insult the TV which was in our room had no reception, we called for a maintenance man to deal with our issues and he did nothing, the only thing ok about the room was the linen was clean because the WI-FI wasn’t worth the hassle of using because it was rubbish, the next morning the so call Continental Breakfast was a joke, you had cheese and ham dry around the edges, limited cereal, a toaster that was a waste of electricity and stale pastries, my £140 I’ve wasted and it’s put me off using independent hotels in the future, even the Toilet in the reception area was filthy, and out dated, if I was the manager I’d change my career so they can get a real manager in to clean up the place, also get staff in who really care about their jobs Sent from my iPhone

Don’t waste your money it’s filthy from the reception toilets down the corridors and into our disgusting room, our shower / Toilet was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen, and I’ve traveled the world, scum around the shower glass, toilet leaking, and when I had a shower black scum came out of the plug hole , the rest of the room was no better, paint on the curtains, chipped paint and dirty skirtings and picture’s so dusty you could grow potatoes in the dust, When it comes to continental Breakfast, it’s just cheese and ham, both had been out so long it was wrinkled around the edges, cereal was just cornflakes and then you had the toast going around the machine like a carousel wheel 5 times just to get brown, I can’t stress enough how bad it was, when I showed the manager my photo’s and complained about the state of our room and in general running and condition of the hotel and the bad continental Breakfast they couldn’t care a less PLEASE DON’T BOOK THIS PLACE YOUR REGRET IT

We stayed one night on 30/3. The outside has no signage and looks very run down. The windows and doors were dirty as was the shower. The staff were friendly and check in was easy. It was ok for one night but didn’t want to use the shower in the morning. We checked out at 05.15am to miss busy Easter traffic so can’t comment on breakfast. I wouldn’t stay here again but you get what you pay for. I didn’t have high expectations so wasn’t too disappointed.

Stayed here for couple of nights whilst visiting Wetherby . A 5 minute walk into the town centre , good safe parking , well located for A1 and around Wetherby . On check in lovely young lady very polite and well mannered , very helpful and sorted us very quickly . Stayed in a double room , clean , spacious with comfortable bed and pillows . Decent TV that works , and warm on the evening . It was my birthday , which they’d picked up on , and around 7 pm a knock on the door , stood there was a thoughtful young chap with a cake and candle to wish me happy birthday (thank you ), that was a lovely gesture . Breakfast is continental , good selection of cereal , yoghurt , meats , cheeses , fruits , preserves and both brown and white toast , and pastures to accompany the coffee and or Yorkshire tea 👍 I stay in 5* that aren’t a patch , and 3* that this puts to shame . Good value for your money , and an enjoyable stay . I’d definitely return - Thank you . 👍

So this hotel is not the Ritz by a long shot but it still worth a look at if like us you just need a one night stop close to the racecourse. It needs some kerb appeal improvements as even locals do not know its open! So here goes. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Carpets could do with deep cleaning in Hallway but doesn't help when contractors walk through with muddy boots! Hotel should stipulate no work shoes. Room was decent size. Bed comfy. Shower fine just needs limescale removing at the bottom of shower door.Other than this room was clean. Tv and facilities in room good. Continental breakfast tasty and varied.

First of all the hotel isnt a Mercure now, its part of the Jupiter group. i believe they took it over earlier in this year (2024). The room was clean and warm. The Staff were pleasant and friendly (Jamah and Negita .. sorry if ive misspelt your names) The manager was a nice guy who stopped to chat with the wife and I. The breakfast was very good, better than a lot of continental breakfasts. no qualms about revisiting.

First of all its not a Mercure hotel, it is now under the Jupiter banner. we had an overnight stay there on the 12th of February 2024. we found the staff we interacted with very pleasant (Negita and Jamah .. apologies if spelling incorrect!) The manager was a nice guy as well, chatted with the wife and I. The position is excellent, plenty of free car parking and free wifi. we look forward to a revisit

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL We checked in at 3pm and left at 6pm because the hotel was in shocking condition. When you drive into the hotel car park, it looks like a derelict building. The reception area is deserted and a weird vibe. The room smelled like pot noodles. Stains on the radiator and bathroom in poor condition. It looks nothing like the photos so do not be fooled. If the hotel doesn't do some serious refurbishment then it will be closed by next year. This is no longer called the Mercure Wetherby, it is now the Jupiter Hotel so do not be fooled with the name.
