Number 20 Nautilus is a duplex luxury apartment in a contemporary development adjacent to the magnificent sandy beach at Westward Ho! The holiday apartment is owned and furnished by the architect Guy Greenfield. In 2005 the building won the only Royal Institute of British Architects annual award for architecture in Devon and Cornwall. It has been featured in numerous publications. The apartment is exceptionally spacious, the sculpted roof creates an exciting interior with huge windows to make the most of the sea view. Not as expected, very tired property We were affected by the weather, there were no blinds in the lounge upstairs and it was scorching, very uncomfortable even with the doors open. Being so close to the sea when we had stormy weather we could n't sleep due to the sound of the crashing sea. The corridors are very narrow in this property and the two flights of stairs far too steep. We were expecting a luxury property from the photos and description; unfortunately this it was not.

Summer holiday We love westward Ho and this property was ideally located for the beach, restaurants and pubs. The view from the balcony was perfect!

Fantastic views Light and airy property slightly tired in places but compensated by fantastic sea views. The property is literally on the sea front and close to pubs, cafes and eateries. Communications with both the property manager and the owners were excellent.

Spring holiday We had a lovely break at this apartment, you couldn't fault the view nd everything you wanted was included within the property. Also plenty of amenities in the area ie shops, bakerery and places to eat and drink. We also found it to be quite easy to visit lot's of places around North Devon and Cornwall.

Great family half term mini break! Fantastic apartment with great views and perfect location. The apartment itself is exactly as described really comfortable with all you would ever need and more. Suited us with two ten year olds! Great communication with the hosts and flexibility with checkin and check out due to low season, which we really appreciated given the typical half term rain!!!! Lovely area, great walks, long beach and rock pools to explore. Lovely cafés close by…. Definitely go for cake at ‘Tea on the Green’, AMAZING! Atlantic Bay do great fish and chips and we loved the pizza at Pig and Olive! The perfect little trip away 😊

Fabulous A second visit to this amazingly lovely apartment. The weather was beautiful which was a bonus. Really well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Love the balconies and views.

Just....... AMAZING!!! Absolutely beautiful apartment. Very clean and modern and just the best location. The pictures don't do it justice. The hosts were so accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back...... we were gutted to leave!! Thanks 😊

Lovely apartment and an excellent stay The location of the property is amazing. Outstanding views and located right in the heart of everything. Was great seeing and hearing the sea so close by. Good communication and the apartment was equipped with everything I needed. Highly recommend

Fabulous We loved the apartment. The views are stunning and we enjoyed watching the tide go in and out. Hope to return soon! Only very minor problem is that I found the Verbo app stopped working and I couldn’t send any messages to our hosts.
