Silver Sands Motel

We spent one night here in April 2024. They make check in and check out really easy, the rooms were recently remodeled and very well done. Cute little coffee area and they payed attention to details. Great deal for the money. Comfy beds. I’d stay again. 😊

The online photos don't do full justice to this renovated property. Rooms and property are designed with expert taste and guest needs in mind. This is not your average motel room and provides homey touches and amenities you will appreciate. Well-managed with front-desk friendliness will make your stay extra-special, including sitting on the patio around the fire table in the evening. My room could have used a full-length mirror and perhaps a chair to complement the comfy sofa. Yes, the bathroom was small with a shower stall (other rooms have tub/shower) and the Roku-only TV system may disappoint some. There are plenty of free channels if you forgot your Netflix/Hulu passwords. You're on holidays.....turn off the TV and go to the beach! Great seafood restaurants nearby at the docks. Absolutely gorgeous - everything looks fresh and new. Apart from the stylish decor the bed was super comfortable and the room was spotless. Lots of little nice touches in the room. Well thought through. Owner lovely and welcoming. Definitely would come again.

We arrived late on a Monday night and we were fortunate that they had a room for us. We were pleasantly surprised by our very clean, beautiful room and was blown away with all the personal touches, face bar of soap, make up towel, beautiful soft white towels, very comfy beds, the list goes on and on. They even have a fire pit in the comfortable communal area. We want to thank the owners for a very pleasant experience.

If you’re looking for a clean friendly place to stay, you found the right spot here. After spending the day exploring west port we enjoyed some time with friends on their beautiful patio. The owners and manager were very friendly and accommodating to make our stay extra special. Can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I stayed here for one night at the end of April and what a little gem it is. Obviously a lot of thought has gone into the motel as a whole. The room itself was more like a boutique hotel than a motel, very modern and every thing looked brand new. The room was decorated in black and white and felt very contemporary. In the room itself there was a coffeemaker, a fridge freezer, a microwave, a large tv, wood laminate flooring, complimentary bottles of water, complimentary toiletries, very soft toilet rolls, plenty of soft towels, including a black face cloth (for makeup), bottle opener, and a bistro style table and chairs both inside the room and outside the room sat under the window. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows and everything smelt nice too. Overall we would have no hesitation in booking this motel if we were ever in the area again. Regards R and D.
