Wow! Thank you for a fabulous afternoon. Visited with my mum for the festive meal; absolutely gorgeous, each course. No mean feat, as we’re both quite fussy eaters! The atmosphere is just perfect - the staff have created the right mix of attentiveness and friendliness. Spotlessly clean throughout. Beautifully and tastefully decorated for Christmas. Thank you so much to the WH team for a special and memorable visit. We’re already recommending to family and friends. Happy New Year to you all!

Visited for Prosecco afternoon tea today. The selection was amazing and more than enough for two! Olly was attentive without being intrusive and made sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended.

Just enjoyed a one night stay at this lovely, lovely hotel. From start to finish the entire team working there were welcoming, efficient, professional, attentive and all round brilliant. Most importantly - without exception. Special thanks to Jamie for being so patient with his - he's brilliant. The lobby / lounge area is cosy comfortable and welcoming and has a fantastic selection of drinks and cocktails. Rooms are spacious, warm and well stocked. Despite having exposed beams there was no musty smell and the room and ensuite were spotlessly clean. Dinner was beautifully cooked and presented, again with great service and was enjoyable. Up until breakfast I was going to give 5 stars but it really was totally inconsistent with everything else we had experienced during our stay. Fortunately it was made very clear to us on arrival that it was only a continental breakfast included on our package and that cooked was at an additional charge. However, have to say that it was a disappointing continental. Cheese curling at the edges, cold toast, no offer of top up of hot beverages and just the variety of what was on offer was extremely poor. Only pastries were croissants and choc croissants- would have expected (at a hotel of this calibre) to have seen other options too. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and will return if back in the area but would be nice if the breakfast just had a bit of a revamp to keep up with everything else.

Absolutely wonderful ! We stayed in the aptly named ‘ Weston ‘ room. Absolutely beautiful room and en-suite which has been decorated tastefully and with style. Our room was spotless, as is the entire hotel. It’s only fair also, to give credit to the housekeeping team, who clearly take pride in what they do. Our breakfast was lovely, as was the lady who tended to us and ensured that we were taken care of. If you enjoy the finer things in life, peace and quiet and a rural setting, then I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We visited Weston Hall yesterday for afternoon tea. I was surprised they could fit us in at short notice. I took my mother-in-law (to be) as she was visiting for a few days. The hall is in a lovely picturesque location, looks very nice from the outside. We only went into the Cellar but it was very well presented, it felt like we were somewhere special (unlike another hall we went to for my birthday last year that put us in a “tea room” that just felt like a children’s cafe). We were seated in front of an open fire which would’ve been perfect last week but it was the warmest day of the year yesterday! It didn’t spoil our visit but my MIL had to move away a bit. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had a glass of Prosecco and a pot of tea. We ended up taking some cakes and scones away with us, as did several others who were there. We were also given an extra cupcake as well. Had to get some photos outside once the rain has stopped!

We booked the midweek dinner, bed and breakfast deal for 4 of us and it cost us £150 which included £90 allowance for the evening meal. It seemed so much of a good deal that I phoned ahead to check it was right, and it was. The hotel is beautiful, the room was really nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed a drink in the bar by the fire before our meal, lovely atmosphere and all staff were great. Meal was very good, hubby said batter on his fish was a bit thick but some people like that. We all ate off the set menu, three courses plus drinks and we only had to put around £40 to, which was great for 4 of us. Bed extremely comfy, but can’t say the same for the sofa bed. Our children struggled to settle so one ended up in the main bed with my husband going on the sofa bed, and he was very uncomfortable on it. Our children are only small so probably ok for them but wouldn’t like to put older kids on there. There was a green light on all night coming from the ceiling and this also kept my hubby awake so be good if something could be done about that. Bedroom (and the rest of the hotel upstairs) was very hot but we were able to turn the radiators off and open windows which was welcome. Continental breakfast was included and anything cooked was extra. There was an ok selection but it was minimal. It included warm croissants and pan au chocolat, fruit, cheese, meat, yoghurts and cereal. Hot drinks and fresh juice were also included. The kids and I managed to fill up on that but the hubby wanted something cooked - he was happy with what he got. Overall it was a very pleasant stay at Weston Hall considering the bargain that it was.

This property is gorgeous and set in such a beautiful location, our room was lovely and very period furniture and restaurant very well done out and breakfast continental very good. But there are just a few nagging point I think the manager needs to address these are firstly the most important point which kinda ruined our stay and celebration with family the next day, there was a green piercing security light immediately above the bed and when all the light were turned out to go to sleep it lit the whole room up with a bright green glow, making it impossible to sleep and no way of contacting the reception as the don’t have 24hr, the manager dismissed this in the morning when we tried telling him he was rather stubborn not even wanting to understand how frustrated and tierd we really were so we gave up with him. Also the tables outside gave us splinters as they weren’t treated or maintained well could do with a paint up. When we checked out we had to wait till 1.30 for the family celebration and we wanted to sit down inside to relax but we were told we really couldn’t as it was all booked out and had to go outside to drink our coffees this isn’t great as it could’ve been raining. A nice indoor place for guests to sit whilst waiting would be nice.

Super winter break at this lovely hotel. The staff were very impressive - helpful and professional, the hotel is beautiful and cosy . Excellent all round and great value. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the lounge with a roaring fire being served with delicious cocktails.
