We spent a night in Moncton as part of romantic getaway. The Scenic Motel is clean, comfortable and affordable. The hospitality we recieved at check-in was greatly appreciated. It's conveniently located on the Homestead Rd with really cool mountain views and a few minutes drive from Mountain Road and all local amenities. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Place only accepts cash so thats your first warning. Bed was worn out 10 years ago, dirty socks under the bed, dust covering the ceiling fans, poor water pressure, dirty microwave, no dresser and dirty carpet. The staff, horrible. Beyond rude. Became aggressive and verbally abusive when I left Owner aimed his snowblower at the rear of my vehicle, caking it in over 6 inches of snow/rocks. Broke 2 sensors and had to get tires reballanced. Owner would not accept any resonsibility so I left. Like a criminal he kept the damage deposit. The photos are how I left it clean.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while in Moncton. The hotel has a few restaurants down the road and is near the famed Magnetic Hill. I had no problems checking in. The room was quiet. The bed was adequate for a night, though I found it to be a bit too soft. A big negative was that we could not make the heat work. It was cold in the room. We turned the bathroom heater up to heat the rest of the room. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided, and we ran out the next morning. There was no bathtub stopper. My favorite part of the hotel was the price I paid. It was the cheapest place we stayed in on our trip.

I left this motel in tears during check out. This motel is advertised as pet friendly on ***********, it is NOT pet friendly. There is a big no pets sign on the office door. The young owner was yelling and very disrespectful to me, because i didn't tell him about my dog, when I booked on *********** there is no place to check off that you are bringing a pet. Another employee, I assume a family member, was trying to be reasonable and he yelled at her to GO.GO, I couldn't believe it! Don't stay at this motel, it should not even be in business with the way that they treat customers. Not that it matters with everything else, but the bathroom sink was clogged, the fan light above the bed stopped working, the mini fridge door wouldn't stay closed and there was a hardened booger on the pillowcase.

The price is cheap, but you get what you pay for. The room as a basement smell and there a lot of patched holes in room 5. Mattress isn’t comfortable. You will roll and meet your partner in the middle of the bed. No toilet paper in washroom.
