Stayed here with a group of friends on a bike trip. This place is awesome! Very clean and comfortable! Our room had a king bed and kitchenette. The scenery and the motel grounds are just beautiful. Very relaxing! The owners are lovely people and very accommodating! I can't say anything negative about this place, the room decor is somewhat dated but I truly don't care about that. It hit the mark on everything else!

Was not able to cancel reservation on day of arrival due to family health issues. Owner did not mention their cancellation policy when booking. Odd that they have a small coffee machine on the microwave but no coffee offered products offered. Screens on door have holes needing repairs especially with many biters outside.

We were assigned a room in a separate, newer building at the back of the property. Huge room, A/C, kitchenette, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Well worth the extra $8.50 for the full breakfast. One note: be sure to have dinner before you arrive. There isn't much available locally, and Port Elgin seems to be becoming a ghost town.

Wow. Clean, quiet, HUGE room with kitchenette. Right on the water. No A-C, but plentiful ocean breezes. Be forewarned, there is not much commercial activity within a couple miles, but that is not why you would come here. Will definitely be back when in the area.
