Motel 6 Westley, CA

it would be awesome if they had an ice machine on the 2nd floor

Older, run-down, very small building. Half of building backs up to freeway, I had to stay upstairs to get a room not on the freeway side. Car parts in the lobby. Large 1 King room with micro and fridge, and couch. Couch very old, peeling vinyl but actually really comfortable. Live-in manager (owner?) really nice. Clean, no bugs. Safe, no riff-raff. Quiet all night. Medium-size grassy dog area which was actually clean! Wifi works well. Bathroom has a tub! Hot water is lukewarm.

Great hotel excellent customer service stay here often and gets better everytime, very comfortable and safe wouldn't stay anywhere else only thing I would change is if they would provide more food options in the area

I am convinced all the hotels at the north end of this freeway exit are owned / managed by the same people...charge you the full rate while offering the bare minimum elsewhere i.e. in this case in mid-August the pool was closed...as was the air conditioned lobby. AFTER I checked-in I was told there was no water and since it was a "city issue" they had no idea of if and when it would come back on...it never did by the time I left the following morning. Of course it would never occur to these people in "the hospitality industry" to offer ANYTHING to benefit the guest due to the inconvenience. Not surprisingly it was up to me to follow-up upon returning home as to any refund. I was informed the city would be reimbursing everyone at each hotel impacted by the no water issue. Two billing cycles later on my credit card and no refund yet. A call to the hotel and I was told "all people have been refunded." Note: It is a game I am sure they play all the time...don't tell anyone there is a refund(because there isn't) and if someone asks, tell them refunds come from the local government and / or refunds have been issued. Hence I have now created a dispute claim with my credit card company which hopefully end in my favor...BUT no thanks to the hotel itself...they don't care about you or your experiences...they only want your money.

Very good location far from run down I had a very nice and relaxing stay there pet friendly the best staff we had during our visit keep up the hospitality and we will be there 2 stay oh did I mention there's a putting mini golf at the hotel

great place clean rooms and nice sleep during our camping trip 2 big bear hotel had a nice BBQ area so couldnt help it had to have our cook out rite ther with great views of the mountians parking rite next to our cook out had a great time and will be back soon thanks V for the hospitality enjoyed the xtended stay

Great location with great staff,been traveling and staying in many hotels .This place is more like staying home the feeling is great will be back would recommend this place if you are in the area we will drive the Xtra 2 come without a doubt

It is obvious the owner / management have "abandoned ship" after you are checked-in. *You cannot check-in going inside because the lobby door is locked and the area looks like a second-hand store. So you stand outside in 100+degree temperature for the check-in process. *My receipt could not be printed because the printer wasn't working. *Over 100 degrees outside and the ice machine doesn't work. *Pool is closed. *TV reception is the worst...every channel is "snowy"...I haven't seen that since the previous century. *2 bath towels and a bathmat...no wash cloths or hand towels. *Portions of the guest parking lot and adjacent areas look like a junkyard of abandoned vehicles. Paid $90 for one night and felt it should have been $15 at most. I really cannot believe this property is even remotely close to Motel 6 MINIMUM operating standards. There are plenty of other Motel 6 options along I-5 that this "motel" will be very easy to bypass in the future.
