In Ohio to spend the holidays with family, our morning flight home was cancelled for the second time after our arrival at the airport. We sought a hotel with an airport shuttle and restaurants within walking distance; Check & check!.The staff were above & beyond kind and accommodating. The lobby and our room were very clean and the chaise and bed so comfortable. Excellent, warm hospitality - I felt as though I was in a far more expensive hotel!

The hotel has a welcoming staff with spacious common spaces and rooms. The Orbit stays true to its name, playing on the theme, with colors, wall coverings, and appointments reminiscent of the early 60's when there were 7 astronauts, a Mercury program, and a new organization called NASA. It sits in the shadow of the NASA Glenn Research Center and across the street from the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The room had a mini-fridge, microwave, K-cup coffee maker, and a nice big bathroom. The breakfast bar was well appointed with something for everyone to include an automatic pancake maker straight out of the Jetson's! I will be back.

Wanted to give a 5 Star…but… Very friendly team, room on ground floor was quiet, clean and comfortable…breakfast buffet very plentiful and tasty. Responsive, safe shuttle to CLE, just a few minutes way. Really found this Holiday InnExpress to be a good place to stay….but, unable to get hot shower. Advised desk and at check out was advised that rooms on ground floor used to have jet tubs and you have to adjust shower water to near center, advised entire hotel will be renovated. No courtesy water bottles. Expectations as an InterContinental Ambassador were high….they came close.

I'm not from out of town, but needed a room for the upcoming night, due to repairs at my house. I checked the rates and availability online before arriving. Good location right off of Bagley Road, near I-71. Near restaurants, the hospital, and movie theater. Downside: you can tell as soon as you pull in the driveway, that something is off. A group of people, who appear to be the housekeeping staff, are lounging on the sidewalk, conversing (or, ”conversatin'”) right outside the entrance. Not a welcoming sight. Walking in, you notice the trash on the carpet. I didn't take a close look, but crumpled papers or wrappers or whatever scattered around the check-in area. Again, that kind of thing does not give you the feeling of welcome or cleanliness. I waited while the desk clerk talked to a guest/friend/coworker- I don't know. They seemed amused that I was standing there. The clerk greeted me. I told her that I wanted to know if I could reserve a room. She said the rooms aren't ready until 2pm- it was 11 o'clock am. I asked if I could simply make a reservation, to check in later. I had my suitcase with me. She said no. I would have to wait until 2, even to make a reservation. ??? Judging by appearances that this was not a nice place, I thanked her and decided to move on. Eventually checked in to the Quality Inn in Brunswick. Cheap rates are not worth this kind of environment.

The hotel was in a good location, quick trip to stores & restaurants. The service was decent, staff sent texts, checking in during our stay if we needed anything. Besides the location, my main reason for choosing this hotel were the amenities, however, upon arrival we found the hot tub was broken along with the fire pit. Since the hot tub was down, I wanted to upgrade my room to include a whirlpool which was declined. It did the job of having a place to stay but for price & poor service for my birthday, the likelihood of my staying at Cambria again is very slim.

GGuest UserThis was a last minute trip for an unexpected reason. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. We usually request a certain room and when it is available they always provide it. If the room is not avaible they provide a similar one for us. You will not beat the location of the hotel. You have everything you need within walking distance.

Fflyaway24This is a standard quick service hotel. That is quite well-maintained. The facility is a bit older, but has been refreshed. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, in the air conditioning works well. The bathrooms are modest in size, but have excellent water, pressure, clean towels, and the bathtub and area around it were absolutely spotless. There is a small pool, a fitness center that was essentially treadmills and some weights; nothing fancy but what you need. Check-in and check-out were quick and friendly. For road warriors: there is coin laundry. They also have grab and go items. If you’re visiting this area this I’d a safe bet for a clean room.

GGuest UserHampton Inn Westlake offers a very nice room at a decent, fair price. Check in was a breeze and they had both cookies and popcorn in the lobby in the evening. Room was nicely appointed, bed and linens were comfy, although there are only two towels in the bathroom. TV worked great as did internet. Room was clean. Basement level was under construction, but we did not notice any construction issues either on the lobby floor or the fourth floor where our room was located. Note: hotel front desk clerk did not honor room preference or location reuest, however this was a minor thing. The hotel is located right next to a Bob Evans with a Wendy's next to it and there is a huge shopping mall/center type area on the other side of the intersection which would offer something to do and numerous places to dine without having to drive any further. Hotel was easy to find off I90. Breakfast was good with some decent variety, but did not offer as many choices as other Hamptons I have stayed at in the area. Still good, hot, and filling. We didn't use pool or exercise room as we checked in late and left early, but I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and I would stay again if in the area.

XxjczThe room that was arranged at the beginning did not even hit, but the front desk gave the room a lot. The traffic is very convenient, just off Highway 90, not far from the beach of Lake Erie. The breakfast was average, the cake was sticky and it was difficult to swallow.

GGuest UserThis was the worst hotel I have stayed at. Ever. Not kidding. On arrival the first thing you encounter is a filthy exterior door that is covered in fingerprints. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the start of covid. Inside, the lobby felt cluttered and it had an overall smell of stale mustiness and faint cigarette smoke. Front desk was unattended and it took a few minutes for the staff to check me in. Took a minute to find the elevator - no directions posted on the walls. The floor inside the elevator was dirty and the rubber flooring was lumpy and worn. Finally made it to the room. Once I made it into the room my experience did not improve at all. The room smelled - stale mustiness and old cigarettes again. The carpet was extremely stained - in one place it looked like drops of blood. The walls were sticky with food and grease stains, especially in the kitchen area. There were two desk chairs in the room, one at the kitchen area table and the other at the desk. One of the chairs had significant stains on the seat, the other had edging around the back rest broken away with staples sticking out. In the bathroom the towel rack was broken, the sink was incredibly small, underneath the sink was filthy, and there was some kind of questionable substance on the side of the toilet tank. The towels smelled like they had been on a shelf for several months, absorbing that by now familiar musty cigarette smell. Back out in room - the phone was stained, there were no cups, dishes, cookware, utensils in the kitchen area, the bedding was threadbare, and there was just an overall sense of stickiness to the entire room. There was also a spot on the floor where the carpet meets the laminate where the molding/trim was damaged. This exposed the carpet tack beneath creating a significant hazard. There was no way I was walking barefoot in this room. I would have cut my foot. I was grateful I packed flip flops. I know you are all asking why I didn't ask for a different room Two reasons here - first, I didn't think it would make a difference. I think the entire facility would have the same problems no matter what room I was in. Just old, dirty, sticky, and smelly. And secondly, when I went back down to the lobby to speak to someone about all of this I was met with a sign on the counter saying ”Welcome, I'll be right back” with directions to dial ”0” for immediate assistance, likely taking you to the unoccupied front desk or the national reservation line for the hotel chain. This sign on the counter thing happened twice, both times I went looking for someone to talk to about my issues. All this can be yours, too, and only for $170... Never. Again.

DDANJINGHotel location is very good, the room is very clean. From Detroit to Niagara Falls, stop by. The small city is very European, and the nearby shopping and dining is very convenient. We found a Japanese restaurant nearby, only a four minute drive away.
