We stayed at one of the self catering units for a couple of days with our little daughter and really enjoyed it. The units had everything we needed, were very spacious and felt private. The property offers a playground, a pool and toys in the reception area, which is perfect for families. There are also breakfast and dinner options, which we didn’t use. One thing to keep in mind: You have to be okay with some small wild animals (ants, mice, bats). They didn’t bother us too much, but keep on mind, they live within and around the cottages.

We had a beautiful time wirh our kids in the Old drift. The people and the place are really nice. We enjoyed the good breakfast. It is a very good and close base for Addo visits

The old drift is a beautiful place with lovely people which make the stay perfect. Good breakfast and a short travel to the Addo. We will come back.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly throughout our stay; good value for money, comfortable cottage (no. 8) peaceful, good Wi-Fi connection. The food was beautifully cooked and well presented. Morning game drive with Lindo into Addo game park; Lindo was well informed and found us some excellent sightings. Thank you for a memorable stay. Lovely secure hotel, rooms were comfy & clean, a WiFi booster would be nice in room 8 as there is limited cel service. Game drive was over priced & in hind sight should have driven ourselves. The food in the restaurant was very good.

I was with my friend at your guesthouse and we had a nice and lovely 2 days. The breakfast was perfect en the diner was also very good. The staff was kind and friendly, and our room was clean and with a lot of space

Old Drift is amazing. The staff are super friendly, even meeting us in the car park to welcome us! The unit we stayed in was 5 star- well equipped and sparkling clean! Very comfortable beds and the bathroom is awesome. Dinner was good too! Very well situated to visit the Addo Elephant Park.

Perfect place to stay, amazing people, amazing view, close to Addo, nice food. We would recommend to any travelers even with children (we were two adults and one child). Five stars for us and one of our favorite stays in South Africa!
