We stayed there on our honeymoon 2 days ago and it was a breathtaking experience. It was cold and windy but there was floor heating and heated blankets in the room. Monkeys were a bit of a problem when we went to the jacuzzi.

The most amazing stay. Will definitely be back! Chalet rooms definitely need another fan above the bed or preferably an aircon as rooms are hot in peak summer.

The hotel is built in a marvelous place with fantastic view! The idilly Chalet is very big and comfortable. The park is a dream . The food is from best quality and the kitchen really first class and the personal is so... friendly,

Perfect location, Log cabins are well spacious and designed to perfection, stunning views. Stunning views of the gorge and sea. Clean and spacious chalet with comfortable beds and good linen. Well fitted kitchen. Lovely partially enclosed patio and braai area. Superb breakfast with so much to choose from. Friendly, professional staff. Awesome heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna facilities. A special welcome from The Fernery as we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary! Only criticism of the chalet is the large skylight without any covering. An aircon would be a welcome addition - especially in summer. The gown was a little small for a male.

Exquisite scenery and situation overlooking the gorge Beautiful, clean, spacious family chalet, with comfortable beds and good linen/towels/gowns. Exceptionally well fitted kitchen. Charming partially enclosed patio dining area. Superb breakfast Friendly, professional staff - each and every one Stunning heated pool/tub/jacuzzi/ sauna facilities Only criticism of the chalet is the large skylight without a blind/curtain covering - unfortunately this made a good night's sleep very difficult. Aircon would also be a great addition, especially since the monkey problem requires windows to be kept closed.

What a way to finish the Dolphin Trail! Everything about the experience was well-handled by the Fernery. From the bookings by Nadia, our guide Ashley and the Lodge itself.The highlight was the wood-fired outdoor hot tub!!
