Misty mountain live up to its name with the fog in the evening. `beautiful place for hiding out from the world and enjoy some time alone in the forest with a scenic view in the morning at breakfast area. Definitely will be returning for the whole experience that this amazing place has to offer. Was there for my birthday pity they didn't pick it up from the booking.

Wow! What an amazing experience. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and the staff were great. We absolutely loved staying in the Dome - and would strongly recommend this unique experience for a a few nights. We stayed in the Cacoon on night 1 and the Dome on night 2. If you are currently debating between the other accommodations and the Dome, definitely splurge and try the Dome!

My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary at Misty Mountain. We booked the Stargazing Cube, but didn’t really know what to expect. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised! Everything was just perfect. The welcome, friendliness and overall service by the staff was wonderful. The food was delicious, but the absolute star of the show was the Cube. You have absolute privacy and can just relax and enjoy the view, the surrounding bush and the facilities. The stargazing bed is a winner. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We really enjoyed our night with the forest view. Hot tub, braai, kitchen, main area, pool.. lots of amenities to explore, definitely kept us interested the whole time. Great location to explore area.

Wow!! What a magical place. We had a lightning show from our bed in the Ocean dome. This place is just perfect come rain or sunshine. 🌞 The braai basket and breakfasts were out of this world. The staff were so amazing so friendly so organized. We had a little golf cart that took our bags and the best part after all our adventures we got back and the hot was already on for us to just enjoy. This place will always have a special place in my heart. ❤️

Excellent property. Even better staff! Really enjoyed everything about Misty Mountain Reserve. The restaurant is great and the they have an 'express braai' set up that you can get to BBQ at your unit. 100% recommend. We stayed in the one of the 'glamping' tents, slept under the stars and woke up to monkeys. Do it.

Very attractive site, chalets larger and better equipped than expected, beautiful pool. Restaurant food was good but spoilt by exceptionally slow service. When advertising 'breakfast is provided' it would be helpful to explain this is continental only.

We were impressed by the effecient & friendly service of Misty Mountain. Our chalet was well appointed, clean and had a most comfortable bed, especially after walking Day 1 of the Dolphin Trail! Our dinner & breakfast were good & served with lovely smiles.
