Hurst Farm B&B

Our host, Victoria made us feel welcome and we immediately felt at home in the beautiful rural setting. Our room was very comfortable with stunning views of the countryside from the bathroom. The communal kitchen area is spacious, well equipped and a lovely place to relax and enjoy the tranquility and views. We were served delicious breakfasts and Victoria provided helpful information about the local area. We had good weather and made good use of the large swimming pool. We highly recommend this friendly and comfortable B&B.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast—immaculately clean, modern, and set in the most stunning surroundings. The facilities were fantastic, making it a truly comfortable and relaxing place to be. During our visit, I suffered a serious injury and had to be hospitalised, which was an incredibly difficult time for me and my wife. Victoria went above and beyond, showing genuine care and compassion. She was incredibly flexible when friends and family came to support us, making a challenging situation so much easier to manage. Her kindness and support meant the world to my wife and me—we’re so grateful. Very highly recommended, not just for the quality of the stay, but for the exceptional humanity behind it.

The tranquil setting of this lovely B&B was perfect for a weekend in the countryside. When the sun was shining we enjoyed a dip in the pool and when the rain poured down, it was really cosy inside. The views were beautiful, I loved seeing chickens, sheep and cows from the big windows of our room. We enjoyed meeting the dog and the cat, and Victoria looked after us really well. We enjoyed vegetarian breakfasts and were given directions to walk to a local (ish) pub for a great meal. This was ideal accommodation for attending a wedding at Chiddingstone castle as it was a very short drive. I have been telling my family and friends about this wonderful place as I highly recommend it!

This lovely B&B is in a beautiful countryside location, yet is only a short drive from Oxted and other local towns. The views from the breakfast area are - as others have said - absolutely glorious. Victoria is a friendly and efficient host and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. Highly recommended.j

Please do not use this venue for your wedding reception. We were progressing with the Hurst farm for our reception however changed our venue now, thankfully!.There are many things wrong with the venue, no parking on site and would have to provide shuttle service from local village hall at an additional charge to hire the car park (£150) and hire shuttle. There is only one toilet for guests. Victorias contract was very rigid, strict noise rules with a charge if not adhered to, amongst many others which made the whole experience feel too structured with too many terms and conditions. The deposit was huge, meaning now we are unable to use the venue due to guest mobility issues Victoria is withholding over £1500 of my money. This is far more than “industry standards” and unreasonable. Victorias communication in general is quite abrupt, clear that she wanted to profit from the scenario rather than having keen interest in the wedding industry. Once all external providers were sourced such as stretch tent, lighting, catering, bar, alcohol license, generator etc it was working out to be just as expensive as a packaged wedding somewhere else. Other venues have experience and the facilities, unlike Victoria who has never hosted a wedding reception before. Overall the experience was poor. If you want your day to be special I advise using experienced wedding venue.
