Beautiful, high quality place to stay! Was in town for two nights for work and was very grateful to have found this gem. The place was extremely clean and the amenities were wonderful.

We stay here every Summer for a few days while we climb the tall peaks in the area. Could not ask for a better base camp for an alpine start and a comfortable end to a day in the high country.

Beautiful, spacious, clean, and a great space for your overnight stay! My family and I have stayed here a few times and each time, the rooms are a good size, the beds are so comfortable, the AC cools nicely, plenty of amenities and just an overall great experience! The view of the mountains is breathtaking! There’s a huge kitchen and plenty of space to gather, hangout, and be with your family. Check out the cute little town just down the street! Oh, and the bedding is SUPER soft and you just melt into the bed! Can’t say enough of how great this place is! A must stay!

Wow! The views from both the front and back porch. We enjoyed our morning coffee and watched deer, rabbits and cows! The house in lovely and welcoming. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Our room welcomed us with special treats as well as coffee and tea to enjoy. The contactless check-in was seamless! We will be back on our next visit to Westcliffe.

I frequently travel to Westcliffe to hike and climb in the nearby mountains, and have previously stayed at the Westcliffe Inn, mostly out of habit. Never again, The Lamp Post Lodge is a much more pleasant and comfortable property. I decided to look for an alternative when the price quoted by the Westcliffe Inn added a $30 cleaning fee. Over the years I've stayed at close to 1000 hotel/motels, and "cleaning" was always included in the price. This petty fee caused me to look elsewhere, and I'm so glad I did. The Lamp Post Lodge is my new base camp for the Sangre de Christo mountains.
