We stayed at this motel just last night. Both pros and cons. If I could leave 2.5 stars, I would. The check-in was not long, and the attendant was helpful. The air was heavy with air freshener. My paraplegic husband was able to wheel into the room and alongside his bed with no problem. The room smelled musty, but it was roomy. The decor is very out of date. One of the beds had a dead fly and other debris between the sheets, and the sheets were very worn out. But the other bed looked clean and in good condition. We did sleep comfortably in it. The curtains were black-out, so the early sun didn't wake us up. Also, the room was fairly sound-proof; and even though our room had a patio door, the outside noise was blocked out. The bathroom looked clean, and the water was always hot when we needed it to be. But again, the decor was from the 70's. Maybe in five years it will be back in style. No breakfast at this place. Just coffee. Plenty of parking space. One thing to note: the patio door to our room was unlocked when we arrived, which made the room accessible to non-guests. This place could be really good if they remodeled and got rid of the heavy air-freshener.

Stayed a week out of necessity due to a family medical emergency and the area had very limited resources. This hotel allowed pets which was a requirement. The room was shabby and unattractive. When inquiring about a sheet change was told that if required (8 day stay) I could have clean sheets but would have to make the bed myself. Coffee packets were present in the room on check-in but never again, even when requested. There was coffee in the office but why have a coffee maker in the room but not provide coffee? Towels were thin and worn and I was told they would be changed every other day. There were only two changes over the 8 day stay.

We checked in, went to our room dropped off our bags then left. Once we came back, took a shower and got ready to go to bed, pulled the bedding back to see it clearly hasn’t been washed in a while. It was covered in different hairs. The room smelled musty. Just not clean. No one wants to sleep in a bed that hasn’t been cleaned. We went right back to the rude owner to ask for a refund being no one in their right mind should sleep in filth and he refused. He wouldn’t even go look at the bedding. We even said if he could put clean sheets on we would be ok with that. He instantly accused us of doing something to the bed. He was super rude. We even said being we used the shower we would settle for half the money back and he refused. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else. Disgusting!!! Stayed here since we arrived to our destination earlier than planned. . and needed a place for the night. Knowing a few years ago it had been extremely run down. Took a chance and stopped in. Discovered a new owner who has bee working diligently to improve it. We prefer American owned and this gentlemen told me he was originally from India, but first came to Illinois then here five years ago. He really seemed to be proud of what he had done, so decided to give it a try. Great decision! Rooms freshly painted, new, comfortable beds and brand new windows. Beautiful bathrooms. Price of $84.00! No breakfast, though coffee in the office. easy parking, quiet, country surroundings. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. Also right next to a supper club that has decreased their menu items (though still enough) and prices are a bit high for the area.

Stayed for a night after my sister-in-law’s wedding! Our room was very spacious and comfortable! The staff was also awesome and extremely helpful! If you are looking for a great place to stay this is it! There is also an awesome supper club next door with a great staff and amazing food!

This is a place to go if you are fishing or hunting not traveling to a wedding... 85 a night way over priced for how old and not updated it is... they don't even a have breakfast anymore... not even coffee!
