Zappeion Apartments

I am 8 months pregnant and booked this accommodation due to requiring an urgent medical appointment in Perth. To say this accommodation is dirty is an understatement. The images that are presented on its website are misleading and quite frankly false advertisement. The beds are NOT king size, they are two single beds pushed together. The top sheet hadn’t been washed as there was other people’s hair on it. The carpets are horrifically stained through the entire apartment. The walls are covered in hand prints, food and scuff marks. The ceiling has cobwebs. The bathroom showers are covered in mould. The bed heads have never been cleaned, dust is hanging off of them. The curtains and blinds are broken and filthy. The couches are disgusting and covered in food and hand marks. We had to put blankets down to sit on them. They are extremely uncomfortable because they are so worn also. Feels like you are sitting on the ground. They provided tea bags but not coffee cups or drinking glasses. No wifi or welcome booklet provided although it states it on the website. The toilet seats don’t even fit the toilet and are broken. It was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in. If you don’t believe me, have a look at the photos attached to this review. I contacted the hotel once departing to ask why the hotel hadn’t been cleaned properly to which they apologised and said a manger would get back to me. No contact from the hotel manager. I find it morally wrong to continue advertising rooms on their social media and website that don’t fit the current state of the hotel. It is taking advantage of people who need somewhere to sleep. They should be ashamed of themselves. I cannot believe they charge $200 bond for such a disgracefully kept apartment. Will never stay here again.
