La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Palm Beach Airport

It was a short stay but well rested very clean and close by to a lot of shopping center

It’s an average place, what you would expect from an average or below average place. nothing fancy.

The pictures on ******* are very misleading , the standard bedspread was the only item that matched . It was run-down , very dimly lit and it smelled , the carpet had a huge stain , the windows were filthy . We checked in & out in about 10 minutes ,after that experience will never even attempt to make a reservation at any Laquinta . They need to do some major renovations at that particular hotel

This place was supposed to have a breakfast. There were two oranges when we got there at 8:30. We were told that the "fruit delivery is tomorrow". Meanwhile, there is a grocery store across the street. An employee couldn't go across the street to get some fruit? Give me a break! The toaster didn't work. The woman in front of us tried three times to get her cinnamon raisin bread browned, but ended up with it only warmed. In arrival my room was stifling hot.... probably 80. It tracked of something... probably chemicals? Had to run the bathroom fan all night to get some air, as the window wouldn't open, not even an inch. It wouldn't move a millimeter! The air unit was short cycling....looked like it needed service, a charge of refrigerant. I don't know what the deal is there, but I wil definitely try to avoid it if I need a room near the Palm Beach airport again. PS? I didn't even want to see the pool....if it is anything like the rest of the place? Sketchy, just sketchy.

Sheets and bedding were soiled with food, makeup from previous occupants. Lamp was broken, bathroom door handle was loose and toilet paper holder was falling off the wall.

By far my worst hotel experience ever. The person at the lobby was not precisely friendly. He charged me an extra $100 on my credit card and just said "sign here". -Excuse me, what is this? - Security deposit. - Ah ok, thank you for explaining. When we got to the room, the card key reader would not work properly. I had to try about 10 time before it would unlock the door and let us in. I will report that later I thought. The bathroom was provided with only 3 towels. What???? We are a family of 5. When I requested more towels, the manager blamed me for not declaring the total number of guests. My reservation clearly stated 2 adults and 3 children. He did not believe me and argued about it. On our second day of our stay, we returned to the hotel in the evening and discovered that we did not have room service. Everything was exactly as we left. No beds made, no clean towels, nothing. When I reported, the manager informed that they don't provide room service unless we request it, what???? First time in my life I hear that. Ok, Can we please have room service tomorrow? Yes sure.Thank you. Room service never happened on the next day nor on any day of our 4 nights stay. We had to make our own beds and hang the wet towels on the chairs and reuse them day after day for all our stay. What a nightmare! This ruined our family trip. Our misery was so overwhelming that I never had the chance to report the faulty card key reader. We just endured it. Do you a favor, never stay in this hotel.

This property is very old and has not been remodeled. My room was one step above Motel 6. I had on the first night limited hot water, the second night no hot water, and they have a sink in the main area with no place to put your personal items. It was an inconvenient sink with no pressure. The bed was a little uncomfortable the room smelled of disinfectant. There’s another location not far from this one that I stayed in once before it was much better. This place should be closed until they renovate.

The facility seemed pretty old though maintained. Maneuvering around the building to park was pretty tight and tough at night. Never before have i been compelled to sign-off on nearly illegible fine print of conditions and a $100 hold for “incidentals”. Finally no airport shuttle till 10:30am! A bother.
