Need a bit more detailing in cleaning and in services. Overall a good place but could be much better if Management check the rooms after Housekeeping and if its not impossible do inform the Person in advance when Housekeeping is coming and kindly advise Housekeeping to clean the room on daily basis as on my 3 day stay Housekeeping only came once when I was out and did nothing on the name of cleaning just moved the things from one place to other.

We didn’t look to the hotel for more than just a bed for the night, so didn’t check out the other facilities. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the room was set up in a modern and pleasant way. The room has most of what you need but it is very small, with very little space to even set down a suitcase. I would have preferred access to a full size ironing board rather than a desktop one.

We chose the Miami because it was very close to the venue we were going to see a live show at. What a gem. Right from our arrival, staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We were given an upgrade that gave as a fabulous view of the city. Our room was large, bed very comfortable, bathroom well appointed (they even had shaving cream), couple of chairs to sit on and, one thing we love, mugs for tea or coffee. Everything was spotless. WiFi was good. There is parking on site at a fee. Some undercover but also spaces for those higher vehicles that can’t fit underneath. There is a guest kitchen which would be great for longer stays. We stayed on a Friday night and had no noise issues. Cafes, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance and a tram stop is just down the road. On our trips into town, we usually stay at a much more expensive hotel but from now on the Miami will be our go to property. Very reasonably priced, great staff and comfortable beds, what more could you ask for?

This is a really good quality hotel in a nice part of Melbourne. We are Accor Plus members but this night was booked using Emirates points. Accor still gave us a a top floor room with a stunning view and the usual free drink vouchers, which I didn't expect since I didn't book with them. The room was clean with the aforementioned good view and had every thing you need for a short stay. Improvements would be a coffee machine instead of simply a kettle, and a better Chromecast as the one we had just wouldn't work. These are minor issues though. Lifts were very slow, as only one seemed to be operating. Breakfast was efficient and tasty, although the included coffee could be improved and the extra charge coffee was too cold to be enjoyable. All in all an excellent hotel to stay at if you need to stay in the South Wharf end of Melbourne, and we will certainly stay again.

We liked our comfortable cabin and the friendly receptionist and maintenance man. The grounds and park were well maintained and within walking distance of supermarket, shops, chemist and restaurants. The receptionist was helpful in providing extra linen and had excellent knowledge of the area . We did have to relocate from one cabin to another due to a power problem but that was unavoidable. We were there when all precautions were being taken due to covid 19. Our vehicle broke down on Saturday evening late so we had to wait to locate a mechanic for Monday morning. I would stay again.

Space is the first hostel of my trip and it’s set the bar pretty high! Staff are lovely, everywhere was always super clean, beds are comfy, towels are provided and you can even grab a fresh one every day if you wish. Location is great, would recommend the Queen Victoria Market for something to do and “pizza pizza pizza” was lush. There’s nothing “on” as such at the hostel but this didn’t bother us. The only thing that would be good is some extra fridges as they were packed full every day and it was hard to put your own food in anywhere. Would definitely come back.

For $400 a night - there are issues. The room lights were so high tech that we could not turn them off or control them in any way we wanted. We were not drunk btw. A lovely person from reception came to turn off the lights so we could sleep. The lights also randomly turned off when we weren't moving enough in the room. Silly to use this system in a hotel. I would get breakfast in the Shop Centre next time. the hotel can't cope with the numbers and it's a very strange crowded food set up with average food. Luke warm lattes. Waited 15mins to be seated at breakfast table, when pre-paid, so they knew the numbers coming. Its very much a family destination, which is great, but the pool on this weekend was full of kids at 7.00pm. I don't think a quiet swim with a view is an option on weekends. It also seems weird that we had to pay for parking when we had shopped all day in the centre. Food and drinks are well priced - I would go again, but will wait for a cheaper deal to make up for the cons.

Maybe it was once nice but it has got so many issues with it and I highly recommend you look elsewhere. We stayed in a two bedroom one bathroom apartment and it was honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We were assigned room 2201W. Here are the issues we encountered during our four night stay. 1. Power outage on our last day with no back up generator for the entire building (both east and west). It’s 31 degrees outside so opening the doors is also not a smart option. Started at 9am and is already over 4 hours. As I have breastmilk in the fridge for my 3 month old, this is my worst nightmare. 2. Safe battery is low. Why hasn’t anyone changed it??? 3. Bathroom shower head plate is broken so water sprays at you un-uniformly and overall unpleasant. 4. Water drips out of the shower but the fall doesn’t go to the drain so the floor remains flooded. 5. Due to point number 4, the bottom of the bathroom door has expanded and the door does NOT close. It is so jammed that it feels like you’d break the handle trying to jam the latch in and back out. 6. Stupid placement of the microwave. You can’t open the microwave door more than 45 degrees. How on earth do you put a dinner plate in there??? 7. Missing cups/ mugs and glasses. 3 mugs, two short glasses, two tall glasses and odd numbered cutlery. Just fix it, for crying out loud! The top rack of the dishwasher was also broken making it difficult to pull in and out the middle rack. 8. Upon check in, we didn’t have any cleaning supplies such as dishwashing tablets, hand washing liquid for dishes or laundry powder. 9. Rooms are so tiny. Don’t expect to be able to open your medium sized luggages inside your room. We kept our two in the so called living space instead. 10. Generally upkeep is not there. Walls have visible stains and grime from previous guests. The whole place just overall felt really really filthy. 11. Not family friendly either. There is a flight of stairs at the entry and no ramp. There is a wheelchair elevator to the side which takes way too long to operate with a crying baby. If you’re on your own, be prepared to lift you pram up or hope a Good Samaritan can help you because the hotel staff won’t. Clearly there are issues within management and housekeeping. I sense laziness and lack of hospitality understanding is to blame. STAY ELSEWHERE!!!

I am interstate for business on a regular basis and have stayed in many well rated accommodation venues however, I struggle to find anything to criticize at this hotel. The staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble, they do all the little things, over and above what I would expect to make you feel like a special guest. They all seemed to be ”hand-picked” to suit the service culture of the hotel. The quality and cleanliness of the facilities are A1. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. A small table & chairs, couch and huge TV were a welcome feature. The conference facilities worked well. Conference catering, breakfast room and intimate Bistro/cocktail bar offered quality food & drinks. My partner is disabled in a wheelchair and all his needs were well & truly met in a standard room. Only 1 suggestion - it would be great to have magnetic door stoppers installed so the door will stay open while moving through with the wheelchair or bags. Nice place to stay, location was great for us. Handy to trams, trains and Greville Street & Chapel Street shopping. Staff pleasant and helpful, easy check in. A Little noisy with some guests, and it is near the railway line but once inside, we didn't notice it. Good to be able to park the car there, shame we had to pay extra for that service though. I'd go back to stay there.
