Courtyard was a great place to stay in Melbourne CBD. The area was not too busy or too quiet. Being next to a fire station did not affect the peace at all. We would like to thank the reception staff on duty for giving us early morning check in and a free upgrade! The room was spacious, clean and the bed was soo comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel for Melbourne CBD! Just a 10 minute walk to QV Market too.

Pleasant hotel, reasonable location and good value for money.
Hotel service staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help hotel guests. Special shout out to front office staff, Noureddin. He was one-person serving during night shift and early morning shift, but did his best to accomodate our requests.
Location : 5 min walk to the nearest tram station.
Not many shops or restaurants within immediate walking distance. Main CBD or Collins Street is around 4 tram stations away.
There is a fire station located next to hotel. I got a room facing the apartments, and it was a pleasant stay.
Room size : spacious. Breakfast spread was reasonable for price point.

The hotel is located at a further end of Spencer street, but it only takes around 15 min walk to the southern cross station so it's still pretty convenient. The reception people are nice, offering an upgraded studio for me. The room is pretty new and well arranged, although the tap has to be pushed to open (which makes it a bit hard to control the water temperature). There's a sitting place inside the shower which might be helpful to some people. The toilet and the shower are not big, but well arranged. The bed is very soft and I like it a lot. The room itself has windows for three sides of the room and you could see beautiful city views (which might be nicer than Hyatt Centric in my opinion). The hotel itself it not huge, with only 10 rooms in each floor, so it's not crowded.

Everything is so perfect, from the room, the service, location and cleaniness. Will definitely be back if we are travelling to Melbourne next time. Highly recommended!
