The room is cleaned by yourself after staying for a few days, no one cleans it for you. The kitchen utensils are useful and deserve praise. The space is spacious. I am quite satisfied. There is a separate washing machine and dryer, which is convenient.

A beautiful, clean apartment. Spacious and modern. Reception staff very helpful. We booked in at last minute for 2 nights, and also extended at last minute for another 2 nights, and it wasn't a problem at all. Would definitely stay here again.

Happy to stay here again. Large apartment which was well appointed. Very well insulated as to outside noises. The lifts are fast, the location really good and parking at $20 per day so reasonable. The security bond is irritating.

Upside : - The apartment is spacious with great wardrobe space - The kicthen utensil is fully equiped - The check in is easy on another side of road - The check out is easy by just returning the key to the check in counter - TV, dishwasher, toaster, oven. microwave, washing machine with dryer, stove, fridge, hair dryer, bath shower all functioning - The security looks good by using access card for entrance and lift - Downstair for ALDI supermarket - 13 mins walk for free tram station next to police station melbounre by tram no 85 to collins street - 8 mins walk at behind direction to Erral street (opposite the Audi) for 7-11, Chemist Warehouse, Library, Restaurants etc. - Plenty of offsite parking which required meter - The curtain in the room is acceptable with not fully cover but at least thick and probably around 98% covered without too bright in morning. - Good sleeping quality for King Size Bed in both rooms. - Soup for bath, dishwasher and washing machine provided - Kitchen roll and tissue provided - Bath towel is good - Plenty of offsite parking Downside : - No air conditioner in 2nd bedroom - Toilet hand shower is broken - Only 216 bus - Free tram should walk 13 -15 mins - Only Aldi downstairs - Front desk check in in next building Conclusion : The night is cozy and quite, but it is quite noisy for the neighbor construction after 9am at this moment, most probably need another 2-3 months to complete. Nothing much in the area.

My partner and I stayed at The Marker Appartments this weekend 14-16 July. The reviews of this hotel was very misleading. It appears as if the negative reviews for this establishment are very well hidden. My partner booked this hotel on the basis that it was so highly rated. However after the initial stay and a very difficult and long research into the place I found the ACTUAL reviews hidden. Cosmetically everything seemed wonderful upon first inspection, however. The appartments are in a very inconvenient location. Nothing much around food wise unless you want to travel into the city which unless you want to walk for a ridiculous amount of time you have to Uber everywhere. The beds were the hardest I’d ever felt, to be frank it would have been cleaner and comfier to sleep on the floor. There are no actual dovet covers on the bed. There are just multiple flat sheets on the bed to give the appearance of a well made bed. The mattress was so hard it felt like we were sleeping on a bed base with no mattress what so ever. The shower was extremely dirty. When showering I began to notice thick black grime or mould coming off the shower base. You cannot lock the door from the inside the lock has been disengaged You get 2 towels for the entire stay with no way to get any more unless you want to wait downstairs for someone at reception. The initial check In we dealt with a very rude man. They charged us a $100 bond that was not mentioned on the prepaid booking as well as $40 for parking for the 2 days that was also not mentioned. The parking situation was confusing and ridiculous, 2 different locking methods we had to get through in an underground Aldi car park. The courtyard was also no where to be seen The walls are very thin and we could hear a dog barking all night from a room a few doors up And all up the room had a very musty and unpleasant smell upon arrival. Not at all pleased with our experience.
