The Dragonfly Inn

Tom and Bee’s place was well managed with comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good shower ( also jacuzzi which we did not use ). They thought about every detail to provide their guests comfortable stay. The beautiful living room with drinks and ( no host) snack bar was nice place to read in the evening. In the morning, breakfast baskets are in the fridge. One can choose to either boil or poach eggs, muesli and yogurt make healthy breakfast. Nespresso or French press coffee are welcome change from instant coffee provided in many hotels and airbnb here Australia.

Well equipped Airbnb. Most needs so well met. appreciated cheese and crackers and local brew (complimentary) in my minbar and a self serve brekky, comfy bed and excellent communication with the staff pre check in. The rooms are starting to tire. My curtains were tatty, fancy cushions a bit sad, bathroom cabinetry speaking their age, chandelier looking less than glamorous. I would stay here again but it was missing the classiness I had hoped for beyond the dining room. The make your own breakfast is a quirky idea but it’s messy and time consuming to cook eggs and toast in an unfamiliar shared space. Perhaps as I was on business I was needing a bit more - if in holidays and a bit more time - this might have been a 10. The staff and communications were exceptional.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the Dragonfly Inn. Everything was at a superior level. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was great. The complimentary glass of port in the stunning dining room was a lovely touch. The whole house itself is beautiful and we will definitely stay there again.
