Very good hotel, good environment, good service, a small beach, clean swimming pool. We booked a one-price package with three meals included, and the food was very good and it felt very worthwhile.

That’s truly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We booked an ocean-view villa with a private pool, and it had everything we could possibly need. The highlight was the small private deck where we could watch the sunset — simply magical. 🌅 The food was delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The only downside was that service at the restaurant was a bit slow, since every dish is à la carte. But honestly, when you’re on holiday, that feels like just a minor detail. The room was cleaned twice a day, which made our stay even more comfortable, and the massage at the spa — with the sound of the waves in the background — was absolutely magical. ✨🌊 We absolutely loved our stay, and if we return to Zanzibar, we would definitely choose this hotel again ❤️

Wow! What an experience. Villa was huge with beautiful natural decor. Completely private and secluded with lush tropical grounds. Incredibly comfy bed and the bathroom was 6*! Staff were friendly and helpful but slightly slow at times. Food was excellent and a reasonable choice for breakfast and lunch (dinner changes every day and a set 5 course menu). Very fresh with quality ingredients. Like a few other reviews have said, there’s very little to do in the resort and you need a car/ scooter to leave. 3-4 days is perfect to unwind then head into stone town for a bit more life

We were looking for a special hotel in a special setting for a special occasion. We also wanted to enjoy our time together in a private atmosphere. We found all of this at Zanzi Resort. In addition, the housekeeping was excellent and very attentive. The furnishings were high-quality and tasteful. The food was very good and room service always delivered it to our villa (at no extra charge). The reception staff were also extremely courteous and very helpful with any requests we had. The pool was cleaned daily. We had Villa 7 with direct access to the sea and our own pool. So far, it is the best hotel we have stayed at on vacation.

Stayed at Zanzi resort for 4 nights as part of honeymoon on Zanzibar. Had villa 6 which is one of the villas with private pool and beach access. Room was clean and had the expected amenities. The chefs are amazing and we were genuinely blown away with each meal. The chicken soup and red snapper were delicious. Honestly the food was spectacular. Watching the bush babies feed during the dinner service was also a nice treat. Would like to thank Abdul, Geofrey (our waiters) and the one female server who we can't remember the name of - they were all very friendly and attentive. Visited Cheetah's Rock as this is very close which was a very worthwhile experience. There is not much else to do in the immediate vicinity so would recommend spending a few nights here and going to the other side of the island. Only minor issues we had were occasional power cuts with loss of wifi (the website does mention this) and loss of water due to a pump issue on the final day but this was rectified quickly.
