We had an amazing vacation at Bawe. From the moment we arrived, we understood that this is a special place, one that truly allows you to relax, breathe, and enjoy every moment. Beyond the beautiful beach and the luxurious rooms, the professional and warm approach of every single employee at the hotel stood out above all. We were fortunate to have Gaston as our butler, who ensured a perfect, end-to-end experience for us and was available for every request with professionalism and kindness. We are looking forward to returning for our next vacation!

When we first booked Bawe for 2 nights, we thought: Well, it’s a small island, are we going to get bored quickly? After having been there, we now know we could have stayed a week! It was a magical stay and started from the pick-up. The speedboat ride was a ton of fun, and when closing in on the island, it became clear how amazing Bawe is! Amazing beach and pool, absolutely stunning villas, and amazing food (even though not the biggest selection, which doesn’t need to be a bad thing, everything served was amazing, delicious, and fresh). Two things stood out: First of all, you can go snorkeling (free gear) literally right from the beach. Even though the low tide would make the swims for around 2–3 hours a day a bit more challenging, it was kind of a spectacle by itself. Super clear water and nice beaches with a changing landscape, yes, that was fun. Second of all: The people, the staff. Always a smile, always friendly and helpful. Being greeted by the “residents” of the island every day was a pleasure, and that made quite a difference to our experience. Our butler Given was extremely attentive to our questions and needs and proactively informed us about things to do, restaurants to go to, and so on. He also organized a chat and a drink with Shannon, the Office Assistant Manager. We learned a lot and felt like part of the island.
