The villas are amazing, a lot of space with private pool! A lot of variety of tasty food and dining events. The only minor negative is that sometimes the waiting for food, coffee is a little long, depending on the amount of people. Beautiful Water, private beach for people of the resort and a lot of activities (Diving, Watersports). The Staff is truly outstanding, friendly and always helpful, special thanks to Ammo and Fadhila! Would definetly come back!! (after some saving ;) )

Bawe Island is a truly special, hidden gem off the coast of Zanzibar, reachable via a short boat trip from Stone Town, the capital, and where the airport is located. I stayed in Overwater Villa 306, on the sunset side, beautifully designed with all the comforts of a 5-star resort while maintaining the natural spirit of the island. In every moment, you feel like part of a postcard. The experience was elevated, thoughtful, and excellent, with great, warm, and genuine hospitality provided by the team, overseen by management. I also had the opportunity to take a day trip to Prison Island by boat, where I explored giant tortoises and historic ruins. But it’s Bawe itself that steals the show. The beach is gorgeous, the water is so clear, it feels like floating in a glass, and sandbanks that emerge at low tide are shaping postcards. Bawe is a place not only to visit but to feel. It invites you to slow down and reconnect with the beauty of nature. The rest is in the incredible hands of the team, the people who make everything come together beautifully.

After a safari trip in Tanzania, we arrived at Bawe Island and stayed for 5 nights. This private little island is home to beautiful villas scattered around the Island, and it’s just a short boat ride from Stone Town. We stayed in a villa of type Zanzibar, and it was absolutely perfect for our family in every way. Bawe Island Resort offers several restaurants to choose from, and we’d especially like to highlight The Sand and Chef’s Table, both of which served food of excellent quality. There are also themed evenings featuring cuisine and culture from Africa and around the world, which added an extra layer to the experience. At The View bar, we enjoyed amazing cocktails while watching the breathtaking sunsets – something we did every evening. The service and friendliness of the staff are truly exceptional, and it’s amazing how well they take care of their guests. We had our own butler, and Fadhila did an outstanding job arranging activities and making sure everything was just right whenever we needed anything. Thank you so much, Fadhila! We can absolutely recommend Bawe Island if you’re looking for something special and a touch of luxury. We hope to come back someday!

We were there for about 10 days and every day was filled with fun activities to do. From padel to jet skis everything was great. Our personal butler Given was very helpful and always willing to help. Although many times things werent on time but that wasnt much of an issue. Overall a great stay.

By far the best hotel we have stayed at. We had the most incredible experience , you get your own butler who is at your service with anything you require. Ask for Beno, he was great! The place makes you feel like you’re in the Maldives with the incredibly styled and spacious Villas. If you’re looking for a quiet destination with beautiful surroundings and great service, this is the place for you. The staff are happy and go above and beyond. The only minor downside is that everything on the island is very expensive including excursions off/around the island, but it is expected in such a beautiful private island.

Everything was perfect from the service to everything. Especially our buttler given was very perfect and even rest of staffs. An indian guy Rashid was too good at the restaurant
