Every detail of our room came together to create a welcoming and thoughtful experience that made us wish we could move it. They maintain the charm of a quaint British cottage while incorporating updated features that add to the luxury of the space. It's perfectly located to offer a quiet, cozy stay while also within very close walking distance of shops and restaurants. Top notch.

This is such a sweet hotel with so many amenities. The rooms are in separate cottages that are enclosed in what feels like a small village w/ stone pathways, water fountains, and high hedges that offer lots of privacy. We stayed in the Steven Cottage which offered a small kitchenette and a washer/dryer. The bathroom was very spacious and there was plenty of room to hang out inside in the cozy living area or outside on our private veranda. The community patio was being renovated but it didn't matter because our own indoor/outdoor space was so accomodating. The staff were lovely as well. We will be returning!

What a wonderful gem to stay. We felt so at home yet also felt like celebrities. Staff and other guest were gracious yet private. We definitely will be back.

A wonderful bungalow style hotel with only about 10 "rooms" that are superbly furnished and comfortable bedding. Loved the location on a quiet side street in West Hollywood. Staff super accommodating. And the bungalow style is just amazing when traveling with others. Absolutely loved!!

This hotel is a gem! It is an amazing location. Walkable to shopping , coffee, breakfast spots. It offers great service and is very well appointed! It felt like we were staying at a friend’s beautiful guesthouse! We will definitely return to this special hotel!

What a perfect place with ideal location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants on Melrose. Well appointed room with great vibes. This is our 2nd stay at The Charlie and we won't stay anywhere else in West Hollywood!

One of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. The buildings have been beautifully restored, the staff is incredible and it’s in an amazing location. I stayed in the Ruth and a place like this would have been my dream apartment when I lived in LA. It felt so much like home that I half expected to see my cats greeting me every time I opened the door. I very rarely write reviews but did so this time because I wanted to do everything I could to make sure The Charlie stays in business forever. I will definitely be returning.
