Somewhere to Stay Backpackers

Great location, super chill and beautiful environment, very comfy. Great staff and great concept for backpackers. I know it is the concept of backpackers shared facilities but we were lacking some basic equipments such as a small fridge maybe and shelves. The rooms were just beds and a fan.

This is a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, it was like staying with family and friends. It close walking distance to the city, busses and trains. The rooms were clean and neat. The have events that promote a harmonious and friendly environment. Should the winds of travel send me this way again, I will most definitely stay here.

We paid for a private room and are really glad that we did. The hostel is very male dominated and a big group of guys who seemed to be outside our room on the balcony, we on ***** 24/7. The windows were so thin it sounded as if they were in our room with us. Our room smelt like **** all day everyday. Ellie on reception was lovely and super helpful. Our room was basic and clean. It was just the constant noise all night that made this probably the worst hostel we’ve stayed in. If you’re a guy coming to party in Brisbane you would probably love it. As a group of young women, we just didn’t feel that safe. And on our second night we were woken up to some people coming to get their friend from outside our room (he was having a bad trip on mushrooms he said to them) at 5am. The company seems to have no problem with the volume of alcohol and ***** on the premises. Had a little bit of a crackden vibe but maybe we just stayed on a bad weekend..
