We have stayed twice now and both times had amazing experiences. The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is awesome!

Hyatt Place couldn't be better situated for shopping or dining in West Des Moines. The only drawbacks I can offer: no daily housekeeping unless requested and a lackadaisical attitude toward the included breakfast. Both of these are common complaints for hotels in the US, so probably not deal breakers if West Des Moines is your destination.

we had a nice weekend hotel room was clean and comfortable. only complaint we have is you could hear all the noise from the hallways as they were in our room. there is a bar that is part of the service desk and had a hard time hearing the attendant when we checked in patrons were a little noisy which was understandable but should have the bar away from the service desk. Hotel was busy due to the state wrestling tournament in town.

The room was excellent…clean, spacious, and modern. It was nice to have a little sectional for our family to lounge on instead of always being on the beds. Beds were comfortable…down pillows and comforter. Rooms were nice and quiet! I couldn't ever hear other doors closing or people above us. The breakfast was complimentary and was delicious! My kids loved the French toast! It’s too bad there wasn’t a hot tub but the pool area was nice and warm. The kids swam forever because the water was heated. Great stay!

I hope in the near future you add a jacuzzi to the hotel. It would be especially appreciated in the cold winters here in Iowa.

First time staying in this specific hotel so we didn’t know what to expect. The lobby was very bright and nice walking in. After receiving our room card we drove to the back and entered through the back entrance. It was easy to go up the elevator to our upgraded room. Once entering the room we were very pleased with how clean and nice it was! The layout was perfect for our needs. The bathroom was really nice. Although we didn’t utilize the pullout couch, it was a nice touch to have separate seating! We were very satiated with the breakfast as well, although more dairy free options would have been nice for my wife. Overall, we will definitely stay here again and bring our kids! Can’t wait to use the updated pool!
