It was alright if your from the area.The area is predomently in the old west bar and entertainment district of West Des Moines. I use to have friend who his bar night out started there. Thanks Craig

The booking never got completed. Trip.com refused to refund us the money back.
The manager had an attitude problem. After saying ww would have took $62 from a card he demanded $100 cash deposit.
Never will I try to stay here again. We lost out on $74.

Nice clean room. I just stayed one night.
Probably wouldn’t stay again it was a little loud . But other than that, ok place to sleep right quick before a flight.

Driving from Chicago to Los Angeles, I stayed in Ohio for the only night on the way. To be honest, when we first entered the room, we were a little shocked. The old smell was too strong, and my friend found hairs on the pillows, sheets, and quilt covers. In addition, the bedding was extremely old, which made us want to escape as soon as possible. .
A simple breakfast is provided, but there are no vegetables, fruits, eggs, etc.
The Indian guy at the front desk is very versatile. He not only works night shift, but also day shift. He not only checks in, but also prepares breakfast. We left the question machine at the front desk and when we went to ask, he took it out of the room right away.

No chairs in room for seating.

From the start the property was bad. We were given the 3rd floor with no elevator. I had a toddler, coolers and luggage. I asked for a ground level room and at first he said he had none and then said I could get one for anothe $40. The cleaner was still cleaning when we got to the room and it wasnt cleaned right. The refrigerate wasnt plugged in and once it was it banged all night and leaked water. The refrigerator was full of rust. There was reallt no breakfast selection. Toast, cereal and sausage. The waffle maker didnt work. I asked about breakfast Nd was told that all they had. I checked out a day early. I stay in a hotel about twice a week and this worst i have ever stayed at!

They accused us of stealing their paper plates...which we did not. Called cops over it. I have proof and receipts we bought them at Wal Mart.

Although this Days Inn is reasonably priced and close to my family members in Des Moines, it lacks some amenities like a coffee-maker and/or facial tissues in the room. My room also had no cups for water, and the bottled water I put in the refrigerator froze! The room was also chilly in late May but had no way to adjust the temperature, except to make it colder. I did appreciate the free breakfast and the fact that free coffee was available at all times.

Not a good hotel
I asked for a 1st floor room or an elevator. They had neither. There were holes in the blanket and the sheets were thread bare. The breakfast was either waffles or cereal. No fruit, no other choices. I am surprised that this was a days inn by Wyndham.
