For us we had 5star experience First time visiting since new ownership… Lovely friendly atmosphere, staff super friendly.. We chose to dine on Curry night .. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.. I believe Owners wife is the chef, great cooking!! Good size portions, my Jalfrezi hit the spot & my husband’sMasala he said was perfect… We will most certainly return

I’ve never met anyone that hates their job as much as the guy running this place. Can barely call it a hotel. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic! Very friendly staff. I Turns out I didn’t have a booking on their busiest weekend but they sorted me out. Very nice room and great location. Lovely country walks straight out the door. Highly recommended. Thanks, Sam

Big bath ,bed ok but found blood on the bed runner .food ok but lasagne was more like shepherds pie but with pasta but was hot also apple crumble was lovely but a bit more custard requirred

The hotel cancelled our booking without telling us, after sending us a confirmation email and taking payment. We only found out when we arrived at the hotel at 11pm at night with nowhere else to stay. We are yet to receive a refund despite paying for a service that we did not receive.

i spoke with manager and they are bringing this hotel back from being shut it is a slow process and a couple of things were not right . bed throw was stained with wine or blood on underside shower head held up with cable ties bathroom door would not close minor things that just need sorting food how ever was excellent and great value would stay here again hope you find the info helpfull not derogative

What a beautiful pub. The staff are so friendly and helpful the food is delicious. The rooms are so clean and tidy and comfortable. Great value and great atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting. The village is beautiful and so lovely sight two.

Excellent hotel and great value. Our room was clean and fresh with a recently refurbished bathroom. Welcome coffee/tea option in the room. Bed was comfy and we slept well. Food was excelkent and reasonably priced. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Nice atmosphere when the locals popped in during the evening. Nice clean and welcoming public areas. Couldn't have had a better stay. The village is very rural and nice for a stroll after dinner. Well situatex for local attractions.
