This has been the most amazing trip! We’re still here but I needed to leave a review. If I could give 10 stars, I’d give the Arca 11. Everything has been wonderful, from the room and its incredible sea view, the beach and amenities, the food and drinks (oh my gosh, the coffeeeeee - so good, and available early for a head start before breakfast, just step out your door and pour a cup to enjoy on your beachfront verandahhhh), the STAFF, the vibe, so clean and safe… Arca was the perfect choice, small scale with attention to every detail, yet right in the midst of (but just enough apart from) all kinds of activities. We walked up the road for incredible fish tacos or down the beach a little bit for ice cream. The included breakfast here is delightful and made with care, leisurely enjoyed to fuel our day. Yesterday, we went on a long day fishing on the other end of the island and came back with a bag of fish. When we presented it to the hotel, they simply asked, “when would you like it?” We went for a swim, cleaned up, sat at a lovely table at the beach for some cold drinks, and were served the most beautiful and delicious preparation and presentation for our special catch! There was not a thing we would have wished was different, and we will be back! Y’all better not book all the rooms before I can plan my next trip. Room #7 is MINE!

Beautiful property on the best beach on Roatán . The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful! This boutique hotel is close to many dive shops and fun restaurants. Water taxi to the west end is $5, so it’s very convenient. One of the best, relaxing resorts I’ve ever seen

Don’t know where to begin except saying that this was the perfect vacation in Roatan! I was impressed by the prompt and helpful pre-trip communication, and knew we were in great hands since check in. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, we rented a villa with another couple and our 10 other friends rented other types of rooms and they were all gorgeous and comfortable. From arranging transportation for all activities, to helping me plan and set up a birthday dinner for my husband with a total of 14 guests - the Arca staff was not only so helpful but so kind! Service was truly impeccable. The food is fantastic - breakfast has delicious and varied options for all dietary restrictions and cravings, the cocktails are delicious and the rotating flavors of water were so refreshing. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly located in the heart of West Bay beach. The owners, chef and staff are not only so nice but truly great at what they do and can’t wait to visit again. My husband’s birthday trip with all of our guests was truly so special. Thank you Arca. We will be back very very soon.

Our stay at the Arca Boutique Hotel in West Bay was the nicest part of our trip to Roatan. This is a very new Hotel right on West Bay and everything about it was great! We stayed in one of their beachfront rooms and the waves lulled us to sleep each night. All the staff was extremely friendly, the place was beautifully laid out, classy and comfortable. The food was great and the chef even made us a special Honduran dish when I asked the gal at the front desk where to go to get some. We are already talking about going back to Roatan and we will definitely stay at the Arca.

I am disputing ½ of the charge of $2239. I booked 4 days and I only used 2 days due to the fact their drinks and food got me and my wife sick. We could not keep anything down. We were very careful to drink only bottled water but I think it was from the ice cubes and washing of the food or staff washing their hands in the tap water. The room they sent us a picture of was not the room they gave us. I told them that ours room was on the first floor looking at the beach. They said sorry this is the room you are getting they were sold out it was holy week. The room they gave us with no choice was on the 2nd floor in the back. The stairs were rather steep and hard for us to climb. When we walked in the sheets had stains but we always bring our own. When I asked them about watching TV they told us that it’s not included and we had to use our own netflix and other streaming service. I looked at her and said we are paying over $500 a day and we don't even get TV, she said nothing. On their website it looks like it’s a private beach but it is not it’s a public beach for everybody to go back and forth all day long including street vendors trying to sell you their trinkets. They have chairs and while we were there a family came along and put a huge tent in front of us and nobody did anything about it. In the $500 a day fee breakfast was included but no other food or drinks were included. The drinks were good enough accept for the first day my wife drank this prepared fruity drink that made her sick. The food was horrible a few times I ordered something like their chicken sandwich took one bite and put it on the side and ordered something else. I figured if I ordered the skirt steak they cannot mess that up. I was wrong it had so much salt I could barely eat it. The mash potatoes had no flavor. I felt hungry the whole time I was at this hotel. The menu had a very poor selection. The whole time we were both me was hitting the bathroom due to something in the food and water. They say you should not drink the water so we only drank bottled water or what they called purified water. But how do you know what’s in the ice cubes or when they clean the food etc. We could not take it any longer and left 2 days earlier than planned. When my wife said we were leaving they told us they will charge us for the 2 days we were not staying. When my wife said we are leaving because we were sick they did not care. She was then surrounded by a few security guards and got scared. We decide to take it up with my cc company. This whole area was very depressed the houses are falling down and you had dirt and sand in the air. It was a mixture of dirt and grease smell everywhere. When you are leaving towards the airport if the cruise ship comes in you better give yourself at least 2 hours one road in and out. The staff for the most part was very kind and they tried to please us. The manger was horrible uncaring and rude. We are charging back our cc for $1119 for the 2 days we

The ARCA was a great place to stay, The location was perfect! Every room was only steps away from the beach. The staff was absolutely incredible they not only went above and beyond but they truly wanted to, they made you feel like royalty.

What a great place perfect location in the middle of west bay walk everywhere. Scuba diving spectacular lots of activities. The entire staff was so nice can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful 16 room boutique resort. The staff was very accommodating, Sam was a big help with booking transportation and additional needs and questions. Great breakfast made to order. The location couldn't be better. Walking distance to shopping, dining, snorkeling, bars, etc. This was our second time to West Bay and will definately going back. It would be nice to have umbrellas on the beach and TV's in all the rooms but very minor suggestion.

Wow! Did we really enjoy our stay at Arca. We were able to enjoy the gorgeous West Bay Beach but also feel secluded while on this stunning property. The rooms are beautifully curated, modern, and extremely comfortable. The black out curtains were an additional bonus to help me get an extra hour of much needed sleep! Also to note -the included breakfast is a choice of many delicious items - banana pancakes and Honduran breakfast, not to be missed! We also enjoyed sunset cocktails and food from the bar menu. We look forward to coming back again. Thanks Arca for a wonderful stay!
