Your room is located to the rear of the hotel in a travel inn style building The rooms are clean, comfortable but not well equipped (poor washing supplements, no fridge in room, no kettle etc) - not really 4* and that’s rated against German Standards The main reason for such a poor rate is the staff service. For such a well graded hotel I would expect service. Instead we were met with rudeness and impolite service with the staff taking more time to smoke than to provide any service - including offering anything before the kitchen closed which resulted in no dessert options for a family event Breakfast was of a good standard - although the roof was leaking badly - despite 30 degree weather (confusing) Wouldn’t stay here - there are better in Wesel for a similar price and better location

Except that there is no air conditioning and the restaurant is not delicious, the rest are very good. The environment is first-rate, by the river. Cruise ship terminal. The ancient town is a short walk away and worth visiting. The room is relatively large, with bottled water and porcelain glass glasses, as well as a kettle, instant coffee. Very worth staying for a few days in a hotel, rare in Germany.

Excellent hotel, greatly located just next to Duisburg Main Station. Modern, calm, close to public transportation. Hotel security is excellent, access is controlled 24 hours, facility accessible only for hotel guests. The team is very attentive, professional, efficient and well trained. Room size is bigger than standard for same hotel category. The hotel is very clean, both the public areas and the room. Bathroom modern and well equipped. I will definitely stay there again next time in the area. Definitely with my recommendations.

Very warm greeting. Our room is a little old, especially the interpretation equipment. The bathroom is large and spacious. For us a few points: only shower/bathroom, no cosmetic mirror and missing hacks for the lifting of the towels. The whole week was missing the hygiene bags. Unfortunately, the kittens smoke something, nothing to feel good, the small went. The room to the main street was very noisy. But it was not on the windows, but probably on the jalousies, we sleeped with air conditioning at closed windows and yet the noise scenes were as if we were sleeping at open windows. The staircase was dead with flights and wespens (in the same place) during our entire presence. Since many families with children were in the hotel, it was quite tumultuous during breakfast. On the buffet we missed salmon and crepes. The location of the coffee machine is unfavourable. The fruits were a bit tough. The offer of bread could be better, at 2 days only 2 varieties. So at breakfast buffet there is still potential upwards. The hotel lobby is very beautiful and also the outdoor area. The location of the hotel for a visit to Sealife, LEGOLAND and Movie Park (about 25 minutes) is very good. The connected “Scottish stick” is very recommended. Very nice, careful service and good kitchen.

Vanuit dit hotel is veel te bereiken op loopafstand. Gunstig dus. Wellicht goed voor diegene die aankomen om bij de rotonde al een bord te plaatsen met de naam van het hotel. Het hotel zelf is best trendy, heel en schoon te noemen. De receptie is 24 uur open. De bar stelt niet veel voor. Dat is jammer. De combinatie van receptionist en bediening van de bar is ook niet handig. De kamer is schoon en netjes. Wat ontbreekt zijn glazen en de dekbedden zijn synthetisch en dus veel te warm. Een betere instructie voor de airco/klimaat zou ook handig zijn. Van de info op tv word ik ook niet veel wijzer. Tijdens slapen het raam openlaten betekent veel lawaai vanaf de straat. Verder een prima basic kamer. Het ontbijt goed uitgebreid en helemaal niets mis mee. Parkeren binnen de hekken kost 10 euro per dag onnodig en niet klantvriendelijk. Voor een kort bezoek aan Oberhausen is dit een prima alternatief.

Wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende im Hotel. Angereist sind wir mit 10 Personen, die sich außer der 2 Kinder alle vegan, 2 zusätzlich zuckerfrei, ernähren. Diese Sonderwünsche wurden von der Küche fantastisch umgesetzt. Hervorheben muss man den Service. Alle Menschen, die uns bedient haben, waren außergewöhnlich freundlich, persönlich und hilfsbereit. Hervorheben müssen wir Frau Auerhahn, deren Charme und Freundlichkeit nicht zu überbieten sind. Grundsätzlich ist das Schwimmbad sehr sehr klein, dass sollte man wissen.

Wir wurden vom Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich empfangen. Aufgrund meiner vorherigen Reservierung eines Tiefgaragenplatzes wurde mir direkt beim Check-In der Platz zugewiesen. An diesem befand sich sogar ein eigens angebrachtes Schild mit unserem Namen. Das fand ich sehr persönlich. Wir reisten mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern. Obwohl wir dieses Hotel das erste mal besuchten, erhielten wir ein kostenfreies Upgrade auf ein Apartment. Ein Schlafsofa wartete bereits fertig bezogen auf die Kinder. Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und zweckmäßig mit einer Kitchenette und einem ausreichend großen Marken Flachbild TV ausgestattet. Das Highlight war jedoch das sehr große Bad mit einer sicherlich 3qm großen bodentiefen Dusche. Selten haben wir uns in einem Nassbereich so wohl gefühlt. Hervorzuheben sind aber Freundlichkeit und die Extra Meile, die das Personal geht. Beispiel: Als meine Frau beim Frühstück versuchte, eine (recht harte) Birne aufzuschneiden, bemerkte die Dame, die uns sehr aufmerksam bediente, die Situation und brachte sofort ein Obstmesser. Eine solche Aufmerksamkeit für die Bedürfnisse der Gäste habe ich auch in 4-Sterne Hotels kaum erlebt. DANKE
