Arrived early enough to not need the automated log in system - secure parking nearby for bicycles. Smooth check in and a comfortable, well appointed, classic german businessman room. Nice central location in a beautiful village. Good breakfast in the morning too.

In der zweiten Novemberhälfte zwei Aufenthalte, Reservierung unkompliziert, obwohl Haus gut gebucht. Zimmer und Bad geräumig, gut gewartet und sauber. Das Frühstück bietet sehr gute Auswahl an kalten und warmen Speisen und Getränken, auf Wunsch werden zügig frische Eierspeisen zubereitet. Das Personal sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Rundum perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Wertheim, allerdings kann der Check-in-Vorgang außerhalb der Personalanwesenheitszeiten etwas hakelig sein...

Telefonische Reservierung schnell und unkompliziert, zuvorkommender Service. Für die vierte/letzte Nacht war zunächst kein Zimmer mehr verfügbar, wir wurden auf Warteliste gesetzt, Verfügbarkeit wenige Tage vor Anreise dann ohne weitere Nachfrage unsererseits bestätigt, das ist super! Das Haus liegt am Rande der Innenstadt und ist einfach zu erreichen, mehrere Stellplätze vor dem Haupteingang können bei Anreise/Abreise belegt werden zum Ent- und Beladen. Kostenfreie/billige (5,- EUR/Tag) Parkplätze in ein paar hundert Metern Entfernung in großer Zahl verfügbar. Online-Check-in ohne Personal im Einzelfall möglicherweise etwas hakelig, funktioniert aber schließlich perfekt, bei uns auch um Mitternacht... Zugang zu den Zimmer mit Aufzug zentral im Gebäude, unser Zimmer (wohl eines der größten) sehr geräumig, ebenso das Bad mit Fenster, Dusche UND Badewanne. Einrichtung geschmackvoll und hochwertig, sehr gepflegt und gewartet, keine Mängel, es fehlt absolut an nichts. Das Frühstück mit sehr umfangreichem, vielseitigem Buffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, frische Eierspeisen z. B. werden auf Wunsch zügig und ohne Zusatzkosten zubereitet. Der Check-out dann ebenso zügig und problemlos. Unkonventionell das Gebührenthema bei vergessener Zimmerkarte und Rechnungsänderung - wir waren damit nicht konfrontiert, wird möglicherweise auch nicht wirklich so gelebt..., und auch die Unterscheidung zwischen Haus- und externen Frühstücksgästen. Herausragend die Freundlichkeit, das Zuvorkommen und das Engagement des Personals in ALLEN Bereichen, von der Verwaltung, über den Frühstückservice, bis zum Zimmerservice - bei meinen tausenden Hotelaufenthalten über bald 5 Jahrzehnte habe ich selten Vergleichbares erlebt! Zusammengefasst: Hotel ohne Fehl und Tadel, ruhig trotz Lage an "Hauptverkehrsstraße", paar Minuten zum zentral gelegenen Marktplatz, und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Cafés, Restaurants in ein paar Minuten Laufentfernung - ganz zu schweigen von der tollen "Afri-Ka" Cocktailbar schräg gegenüber, die allerdings nur zum Wochenende hin geöffnet hat, eine veritable Perle...

Wir waren für einen Kurzurlaub in Wertheim und haben die Wertheimer Stuben gebucht, da sie barrierefreie Zimmer anbieten. Das Haus hat einen Aufzug, allerdings gibt es am Eingang doch 3-4 Stufen zu überwinden. Die Zimmer sind gut, es fehlt an nichts, bodentiefe Duschen waren vorhanden, und das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Das Personal ist nett. Wifi ist kostenlos aber ungesichert (kein Passwort), kann theoretisch auch von außen genutzt bzw. mitgehört werden. Man darf zum Aussteigen / Entladen kurz vor der Tür parken, ist aber dann auf öffentliche Parkplätze angewiesen. Ganz in der Nähe am Main und an der Tauber sind Parkplätze für 4-5 EUR pro 24h. Die malerische, historische Innenstadt ist zu Fuß erreichbar, schon nach 50-100m ist man am Markplatz. Ich fand das Hotel eine gute Wahl für ca 100 EUR pro Nacht; die meisten Wertheimer Hotels liegen ähnlich im Preisbereich.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Das es keine Parkplätze gibt stört etwas. Unangenehm empfanden wir beide, dass es beim duschen teils kein warmes Wasser gab und erst recht, dass das Frühstück für Hotelgäste nur für bestimmte Zeit zur Verfügung steht und danach an externe Gäste außerhalb des Hotels verkauft wird. So waren wir sonntags um 10:00 frühstücken, wurden aber - vor den externen Gästen - darauf hingewiesen, das unsere Zeit abgelaufen seie und wir lediglich 10€ fürs Frühstück zahlen, wohingegen die Externen 23,50€ zahlen müssten. Wir durften bleiben, aber so ein Vorgehen haben wir bis dato in keinem Hotel kennengelernt. Gehört dem Hotelgast nicht die höchste Aufmerksamkeit? Zum an dem Wochenende „Night Groove“ in Wertheim war und man nicht vor Mitternacht im Bett liegt.

Waren hier unter der Woche zu einem Familienevent (Frühstück) eingeladen, haben dort aber nicht übernachtet... Das Frühstücksangebot sehr umfangreich und vielseitig, bei guter Qualtät und perfektem Service - vielleicht aber haben ein paar Highlights gefehlt, angesichts des Preises von gut € 23...
