I give this hotel chain the lowest score ! We arrived at the Agoda Hotel ”Centro Hotel Celler Tor” in Braunschweig, Germany on March 7 at 23:00 p.m. at Yagodin (Ukraine / Poland) border with my wife and gender in 2 cars, we were embarked on my family The receptionist welcomed us with the circumstances of the smile, offered 3 rooms for €256. For the same choice on the hotel's website the price was €216. The receptionist therefore advised us to book online. Thing is done with online payment. All was ok. It is just the time to give us the chamber keys that he asks for a vaccination certificate. I explain to him that the French have a vaccine pass on their phone, but that in the hurry of departure my Ukrainian family will not be able to present it. This gentleman, apparently uninformed about the dramatic situation in Ukraine, has only complied with the regulation of the German hotel chain, he has categorically explained us to leave. No humanist from his side, a 3-month baby and a 80-year-old grandmother left him completely unturbable. After much insistence, we were in the street, and then on a motorway area to ”sleep” at 10 in 2 cars. The hotel has been very close to the hotel and the hotel has been very close to the hotel. One night in the car for a Babouchka, a 3-month baby, 1 2.5-year-old child and another 6-year-old child, at a temperature of -1°, for €216, no refund possible!... is the Agoda hospitality .... in Braunschweig in Germany! We already reserved a hotel room for one night at the above branch through the official website on the day of July 06, 2020 and arrived there on July 09, 2020 at around 9:30 a.m. to check in and at least drop off our luggage and find out about the to inform the city. However, the receptionist informed us that she could neither check us in nor accept our luggage, let alone use the toilet in front of the reception. According to her statement, we have to understand that all this is due to the limited opening hours, which however were not mentioned anywhere on the website and booking confirmation of the above hotel. She confirmed this missing information (as of 10:00 on the same day). We were therefore in vain on the way from Braunschweig's main train station to the hotel and had to lose time and travel costs unnecessarily. The receptionist mentioned also said that we had only reserved the room but not yet paid the fee and that the reservation was only valid from 2 p.m. Therefore, we would not yet be hotel guests and would not officially have permission to stay in the entrance area and check-in would also only be possible at 2 p.m. So we didn't get a city map - until we asked them for this - nor did we get any further, alternative information about our extremely helpless situation and information about where authentic restaurants in the city are located. We understand that the Corona pandemic will result in some changes in hotel operations; however, we would have wished, as a guest in the B&B hotel, to experience more understanding, courtesy and hospitality on our trip, as we already knew from another B&B branch in Göttingen, for example.

We stayed here in March for two nights. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is located in the city center. There are a lot of restaurants just across the street. The room is relatively newly updated (we stayed in a room called apartment). There is a water boiler with tea and coffee. The minibar has a lot of beverages and beers (need to pay). The bathroom is large and looks modern. There is one elevator for the whole hotel, but the waiting time is reasonable. There is an underground parking (Euro 14 per day), although the space is a little bit tight and the entrance is very narrow. The breakfast selections are good. There is a small exercise room at the top floor. The staffs are very helpful. One of the best hotel in Braunschweig.

I am very happy with my stay. The staff very obviously very well trained and pre-coming. Directly in the city center is perfect if you want to go out of the city or to go out in the evening. There are some hotel parking places behind the house. At the reception, I was told you to log in if the hotel parks were all placed, you would find a solution. I'd like to come back

Book this hotel on a business trip, staying close to the customer's accommodation, the hotel is a traditional European architectural style, ancient and elegant, with a sense of history. Hotel staff will not be Chinese, others are acceptable. Breakfast is plentiful.

Marle is very helpful and has a great attitude. The hotel is convenient across from where trains buses depart and the rooms are comfortable. I recommend this property if you’re looking for a solid well run spot

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer sehr modern eingerichtet, hell und sauber. Hier habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück lässt auch keine Wünsche übrig. Ich werde das nächste mal wieder hier ein Zimmer reservieren.

Nice central location, huge rooms, great outdoor terrace (although it does need some weeding!) We really enjoy our two nights here. The only area of improvement would be the addition of a washing machine, otherwise, all good!

Chinese people do not have slippers and toothbrushes on business, and they are finished in Germany. . Parking is charged, and it seems to be 9 Euros a night. . The location is superb, one step away from the railway station and the pedestrian street. If you don't drive, you should be very convenient! The room was especially strange. There was a large patio outside the window. It was facing the window of other rooms. The patient who was sneaked like me could only pull the curtains all the time. The front desk can provide breakfast packaged business, and you can have a simple breakfast at 5 o'clock. This service is really good. The shower room and toilet in the room are separated and the cleanliness is good.

We just had a short stay here to visit Autostadt and Phaneo since we had earned a free night through Marriott. Arrival was great and easy - everything went smooth. Our Marriott Gold status was recognized and rewarded with the discretionary upgrade. Unlike most places, the pool was a lot larger than expected and heated to a comfortable temperature. What stood out was the quality of the service. It was friendly and professional, without being pretentious. The front desk staff was top-notch. One person, in particular, made our stay memorable: Frau Vogel-Villanueva. She was able to jump from German to English without problem, and she was able to accommodate our requests without missing a beat with a great attitude to go along with it. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The location is great, as it is in the middle of Autostadt, and entry is included with the stay at the Ritz. It is also easy to get to the other side of the river using a bridge that connects to the Autostadt, There are a number of restaurants and the Phaneo in comfortable walking distance. The Phaneo is highly recommended for families with kids - the most interactive science museum we have visited. One could easily spend 8 hours here. If there was something to correct would be that all restaurants in the hotel were booked out upon our arrival, which forced us to find alternate dining arrangements. In the future, an email or message notifying guest would be nice once restaurants are close to being fully booked. We were already tired from our travel and then had to go looking for dinner, which was less than ideal. Overall, I can recommend this hotel for 2-3 night stay for families, with one day at the Autostadt and a second day at the Phaneo + pool time.
