Family-friendly Hotels in Wenchang

An ok hotel, a little dated and overpriced for what we got. Location is ok. Booked a suite and was a little disappointed given the price of the room. Parking was almost impossible and staff were less than helpful in this regard. There are better options locally.

Even though my husband and I are far away from home, the housekeeper Anni has provided us the hospitality by recommending us places of interests and a place where we could have a good meal. She even helped us book the high speed rail tickets together with her colleague Mindy and reminded me gently to check out on time to catch the train. Kudos to Anni and Mindy!

We had a short stay here and everything went well. The room was great with and upgraded kids room that had a slide and a tiki tent! My daughter loved it and the breakfast was superb as well. Many thanks to Mollie and her expertise in helping us plan things to do and also general requests around the hotel. Really appreciated that level of attention. Overall Highly recommended.

This stay just in time for the Wenchang Overseas Chinese Culture Festival. I thought the hotel would have no time to take care of individual guests. I didn’t expect to receive a call from Ms. Fan, the guest manager of the front office, patiently asked about the needs of the stay. After learning that it was a parent-child trip, we also upgraded the parent-child room for us. Children like it very much; Due to the delay of the return plan, I applied for a late check-out. Manager Fan also asked the superior to help solve it. I am very grateful to 👍! Although there are large-scale meetings and reception tasks, the hotel is in a well-organized overall, the staff service is better, and the restaurant meal time is also delayed, which is very user-friendly! Staff are patient every time they handle extra meals at the entrance of the restaurant. I don’t know if others have found that the restaurant waiter has a young guy with glasses, his face is a bit round, he looks up to 20 years old, he is a super substitute, he can quickly find out if the guests have difficulties and need help, not much words, but do practical things, and very hearty, At the end of March, my child asked him to help him get a straw. When he checked in for dinner a week later, he took the initiative to ask if he needed a straw. Really caring, very hard at work! The photo was a bit deformed, but I can still recognize this person, a young man very suitable for the hotel service industry!

I took my mother on a tour around Hainan Island and found a room with a tatami tea table in this hotel. It was very convenient to eat next to Wenchang Middle School. There were many choices. After eating, we went shopping and then went back to the hotel to make a cup of tea. It was really not too comfortable~

Conveniently locate and easy access to amenities. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is very dated. Though the bedroom was decently clean, the bathroom was a mess. It had stain marks all over the walls. The groutings in the shower cubicle had mild dew stains and so was the anti-slip bath mat. It is definitely not fit to be used. The foldable wooden windows above the wash basin had rotted and the paint was coming off. Coordination between front office and dining room staff was poor resulting in me being questioned about my eligibility to have breakfast. A moment of embarrassment. However the manager apologised and sent us a complimentary fruit platter and a pot tea.

The room was very clean, the quilt pillows were all right, there was a small refrigerator, the balcony view was also very wide, the check-in and check-out were not the same reception, but the two front desk service was very friendly and warm, and the items were left when checking out. The front desk lady Xiaopei immediately called us and helped send the courier. Thank you so much.

This is the best hotel ever. The customer service is 10/10. The rooms are spacious and especially love the bathroom.

The resort is already my age. It was definitely the first village for seaside resorts in China 20 years ago. Unfortunately, the artificial island was filled in and everything was destroyed. I was bitten by betel nut insects nearly a hundred times, sigh! There are geckos in the room, which are loud and close to nature. Fortunately, I am not afraid of geckos, otherwise I would not be able to live there. 4 Resting on the balcony, I saw a huge mouse walking by... I was so scared that my face twisted, that's right, it was walking... not running... This is the first time I saw such a leisurely mouse, [Frightened R] me. .. 5 The facilities on the island are very poor, there are not many restaurants, no convenience stores, only incomplete small supermarkets and countless coconut stalls. The Wenchang Coconut Chicken at Gate 6 is really good, you can try it. 7 Don’t even think about public transportation. Nucleic acid is tested twice in 3 days. I almost cried when the bus went to the town to do nucleic acid. The person took the order, paid first and then returned it to me by car. Children should like it, but what I think is all about bikinis with clear water and sand. 😄住了個套房 感覺還不錯 房間很乾凈 離海邊不遠走路10分鐘 在窗户上可以看到青嵐大橋和銅鼓嶺海灘 樓下有個超市買東西方便 這一片地區吃飯都不太方便 需要去三公裡外的鎮上 旁邊有公交站 去鎮上也算方便 打車12塊錢 或者去海邊的夜市 不過叫外賣還是有很多好吃的😋 我找老闆幫着聯繫租了個小電動 騎了一週給了100塊
