Best Hotels near South Kenton, Wembley

We booked this hotel as we were attending a concert at Wembley. Hotel was reasonably priced as most were overpriced due to the concert being on. We arrived at 1pm 1hr before checking in as I had read that there ain’t many parking spaces available and as we were driving ideally a parking space would be perfect. Hotel was easy to find using the sat nav, when we arrived I parked outside the front of hotel all spaces were taken out the front but luckily they had a space available in the gated carpark. This is quiet small so we were lucky to have got one. We were also allowed to check in 1hr early as a room was ready. The hotel receptionist was friendly and very helpful, check in was easy and quick he asked if we were attending the concert at Wembley and gave us the quickest and best route to get there using public transport. In the end we ended up getting an Uber for £10 direct and was only about 15 min journey. If you prefer you can get a bus outside to the tube station or walk roughly 10 mins to nearest tube station. We found our hotel room to be clean and tidy and had adequate space. The room was a little out dated decorative but has all amenities we needed. As it was a warm day they had a fan provided. To return from Wembley we walked away from Wembley and got an for £13 as public transport was a nightmare which was to be expected. We would definitely use this hotel again as like I said staff were lovely and friendly and location was good for what we needed.

I stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight. Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this hotel as often as possible and recommend it to others.

Holiday inn-west, easy to accessible through tube n by road. Whenever I travel for business I used to prefer for long stays here. Peacefull stay and quiet environment. Breakfast buffet is very good, healthy food, Amazing staff with excellent customer service, like Ravindra Singh is so helpful, he is an asset for your company. Dear customer services representative from IHG rewards club and Owner of HI Hammersmith, My family and I had the misfortune of staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hammersmith in London from 1st September to 2nd September in room number 340. During the checking-in process, I have encountered the most unsatisfactory, rude, and disturbing services in my lifetime that I think you should know of and hopefully do something about. First of all, we arrived at the hotel at 14:50. Upon arrival, the lady who was responsible for checking in, mentioned to me, all guests would have to wait for another 15 minutes before checking in. I was puzzled, and enquired the root cause to the problem, at the same time, trying to come out of an alternative solution (which they should have done this), asking as a diamond member to IHG rewards club, if the hotel can prepare the paperwork, take the credit card information first, and assigning a room can be delayed to a later stage? This is because I had to rush to north London to pick up my son. The reception lady replied very bluntly, without any sympathy, “We cannot do anything and usually your room won’t be ready until 4PM, we already move forward to 3 o’clock.” The room check in time should be 3pm not 4pm, this was stated in the hotel policy and in the booking email. I was not satisfied with her attitude and explanation. I don’t mind she told me the true reason, for example, the hotel is understaffed or they had a group of international tourists a night before who all have late check out. However, covering the true reason, finding an excuse does NOT reflect the expected level of customer services, which damage the integrity of services staffs and brand image. So I began to challenge her explanation, hoping to get a satisfying explanation with controlled and still firm voice. At the point, the duty manager Jas***e came by, instead of trying to calm the customer down, and asking for the reasons to resolve the problem. She behaved very aggressively (holding her head up, with her very arrogant face and body language) and being very judgmental, started to shout to my family (including my 8 year old daughter), in front of many other customers waiting in the lounge, ‘I dislike the way you talked to my colleague’, blaming me to be very arrogant and impolite to her colleague. In a matter of fact, I merely was very firm with my voice and unsatisfied why she said the check in should be 4pm, and refused to do anything to save a few minutes. She said the customer she was dealing with, has a diamond platinum status, if he can wait, why not me. I corrected her, “diamond is the top level of IHG club membership. What I am asking here is if I can check in early, at least fill in the documents and bank details, as I am in a rush.” She pointed out to all customers waiting in the lobby, “You have no privilege than anybody comes earlier than you.” I was not trying to take privilege as I explained before. The staff are nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel car park is convenient and high secured. The hotel close to the underground, outlet and different type of restaurant.

Hellow Folks Im back with a review for this 3 star rated hotel. Stayed here with a friend. Straight up, I will say, its not a hotel. Its a house...clearly looks like it was a HMO or something similar previously that has not been converted to a hotel. Stayed here 2 nights. Firstly, no one answered the door for a good 7-8 mins...yes, there was a chill in the air! Not nice to be left waiting outside. Nor did anyone answer the smart doorbell... or should I say Not so smart! When we did eventually enter, there was no apology to have kept us waiting. Corridor's smelt funny and musty and so did the room. The bathroom was the worst! I did mention this to reception (which is mostly unmanned by the way) and advised that I was going out to grab a bite to eat if the smell could be investigated or request a room change! I was advised that there were no spare rooms and the smell would be looked into Upon return, the person I had spoken to 1 and a half hours ago... was no longer there. And the person that had taken over...clearly didnt have a handover. After explaining again, the room was changed albeit very begrudgingly and alot of shaking of the head! The new room was far better and more spacious, even though it was a smaller size! Night one went well as the mattress is comfy. However the room clean up the next day.... was well below any hotel standard! Went out for breakfast, came back, Bed was done....sheets not changed. Left used coffee mugs in the sink... not washed! Used towels in the bathroom...not replaced! At least the coffee sachets were replenished. The shower is good I will give them that! Good pressure and temperature control. For those of you that would have read any of my previous reviews, you will know I like a shower with good water pressure!! 😁 Check out is simple...leave the key in the room or at the unmanned reception! (Make a slight effort and find them before you leave...hand the keys to them in person!) Anyway, over to the ratings: Room cleanliness: 3/5 It would have scored a 4 if they would have changed the sheets, provided new towels and at least washed the mugs Location 5/5 10 min walk to Wembley Stadium and the Wembley Outlet Shopping Centre Value for Money: 2/5 Service 1/5 Total letdown and poor attitude. the staff at the hotel is very sweet & helping. The hotel is located right in between Wembley park & central & a lot of things are close by to it. It is a pretty decent hotel for a one night stay.
