We booked 2 rooms for one night. The rooms were clean and big enough. We didn't expect that for the price! Good and relatively cheap parking in the underground car park. There is enough parking space! There was also a minibar, which is not standard these days!
24 hour reception is also an advantage!
Overall we were very satisfied. Again any time!

Not where I normally stay but other places were fully booked and so I stayed here. I will admit it was a slightly scraped 4/5 as it was ok but I think 3/5 might have been a bit harsh. It was comfortable yes but maybe a little old and dated in places and needs a little TLC.

stayed on short notice for one night on a buzz trip, check-in / -out was easy and quick. hotel overall quite clean despite the age. bathroom looked brushed up recently. no noise in the room even with open window. maybe pillows need some attention - felt like a ballon after we had dinner at the inhouse steak-house (excellent, see separate review) we were told to have drinks at the bar later.. the selection of drinks was very poor, not even a GIN on offer, not all softdrinks.. really not a place for a after dinner sip.. - two points off only due to this!

I was locked in the hotel elevator with four colleagues for about 45 minutes. The emergency call only worked after 10 minutes. Alarm was ignored by staff. Only a call to reception brought relief. It was not the elevator company, but the fire department from Wels that rescued us from this unfortunate situation. Neither an apology nor a reaction from the hotel management. The hotel is otherwise great, good rooms, good beds, very clean and a good breakfast. But in problem situations an insufficient service!

Quiet, friendly staff who are professionally available to answer any questions you may have. The room was great and really quiet all around. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a large selection to start the day. I would happily come back!

Das Hotel ist gepflegt, wenn auch alles schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Zimmer haben eine angenehme grösse und sind sauber. zimmer im 5. Etage sind etwas war im Sommer, und es hat keine Klimaanlage, dafür lässt sich das Fenster ganz öffnen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist tip top. Tiefgarage direkt unter dem Hotel. Die Lage ist auch sehr zentral.

Voldoende. Het was als overnachting op doorreis en we hebben prima geslapen. Het was vrij warm op de kamer maar te doen. De parkeergarage was niet alleen van het hotel zelf. Vonden we geen fijn idee met al onze bagage in de auto, maar alles is goed gegaan. Het stadje Wels zelf was erg leuk!
