I booked the accommodation for my parents-in-law for 2 nights, for our wedding in Wellington. I contacted the owner 2 days before to ask if it was okay if my husband got dressed there and the photographer snapped a few photos, of him. She then immediately upgraded us, to ensure there was enough space. I am sure the original room would have been fine as every inch of this House is gorgeous. My Parents-in-law loved the staff and said goodbye to them as if they were family. They had absolutely no complaints. Thank you so much for giving us a beautiful setting to snap a few pics and spoil our parents.

Wonderful hospitality from Mara and her staff in a beautiful setting overlooking the vineyards of Wellington. Easy to find and centrally located to explore the local wine farms. Breakfast was elegant and tasty with locally sourced fruits and yoghurt followed by omelette on our first morning and eggs and bacon on our second. Fresh toast and jams from trees on the property was the perfect finish. We had dinner on our second night which was excellent. Cannot fault the property or service and will return when we visit Wellington next.

The Country House is in a quiet suburb of Wellington adjacent to some vineyards. This is a residential home converted to a guest house. There is an open deck in the garden with great views and a pool area. Breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive. Only gripe was the room was a wee bit small, ( typical family bedroom).

A very pleasant, comfortable guesthouse situated in a nice quiet location. We were welcomed by the hostess and staff and immediately made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The rooms were clean and well prepared with comfortable beds and everything we required. We had an excellent home made breakfast out overlooking the Boland mountains. The extra suprise was to find our car had been washed before our departure. We highly recommend this guesthouse and will return.

Highly recommended! Mara and her team are top notch, Beautiful and tranquil setting, rooms are super comfortable, attention to detail and all our needs were catered for. Stunning and delicious breakfast with the best scones ever! Will definitely be going back!
