Lovely pub area - friendly locals and excellent service from landlord. First floor Bedroom nicely done and lovely and warm - radiators you could control! Bathroom needs a bit of work around grouting but all in progress. Whole place very clean and a large private car park. It rained whilst we were there but must be great in summer with many areas to walk! We will be back.

Wow what can I say ,couldn’t get a more perfect place to say , will and his staff are the most helpful and friendly people, both myself and my friend are partly disabled , nothing was to much trouble for them ,and they offer to help was genuine , ,our room was lovely , room was spotlessly clean bed was so comfortable , the breakfast hamper was fantastic and topped up every morning ,,100% on every thing , we will be back in June , ( we two ladies well over the age of 60 ,have found our getaway hotel ) thank you again will

We've found a new local! A lovely restaurant plate and palate owned separately from the bar and hotel. We ordered X2 beef Sunday dinners with a side of pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese. Absolutely incredible flavours and presentation, one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had. A small family run business, very friendly & made us feel welcome. The pub is also just as lovely as are the staff, thankyou for making us feel welcome.

I first visited this restaurant in September and had a lovely meal no complaints, I’ve since visited twice more, in early October, I visited again., I ordered a meal again and asked for a rump steak medium, when it arrived, it was rare, I left the table and quietly went up to tell the waitress that it wasn’t as I had ordered, she apologised and 10 minutes later my steak arrived back, it was inedible !! I called in tonight for a drink, & the chef’s wife asked if she could have a quiet word with me round the corner, - She told me in no uncertain terms that I was not welcome, & I would never be served again. I asked why, she told me that I’d complained before about the meal, and that I had gone into the bar afterwards and told everyone about the awful meal I had had. This was a downright lie as I am not that kind of person. It’s a sad time if a restaurant cannot take any criticism without banning someone for complaining.
