Good wee hostel, I can only just recommend to fellow solo travellers. Location is perfect, just opposit of Trainstation.

The staff there are very pleasant and helpful. . I would recommend anyone who wants to stay I wellington. With its strategic location near the train station, it makes it so much convenient .

Location is 5star! Near train station and interisland ferry. If u r coming from an interisland ferry, use the free transport from terminal to train station and just walk to hotel from there! Save taxi expense :-) old bldg but everything’s working. Stayed in double en suite room and it had all we needed including coffee tea and fresh milk station in room! It was a wonderful surprise for the price we paid for. Breakfast for NZ$15 at the restaurant on ground floor was excellent and very worth the price. Will definitely use this place again. Highly recommended. Btw, airport bus is also a walking distance from the hotel and its only NZ$10/adult :-)

The building is old, quaint and nice.
The sheets provided on the bath mat and futon were quite dirty and I was concerned about the cleanliness.
I think there are some things that should be tolerated because of the low price, but I think the location is a good one.

Stayed two nights, good location however there is bit noisey at night due to the traffics. Besides that the room and services are worth the price. Recommended for people on a budget trip.
