Several problem. Access card didn’t work on the main door after hours, so we were locked out and had to call and wait for security to arrive to let us in. Shower head mechanism was broken and the shower drain was blocked Couldn’t connect to the wifi No milk available for coffee Overall disappointing and wont be using Ohtel in future

Loved it! Loved the location - great views and easy walk to the centre of Wellington. Loved the room and the retro fittings - not to mention the record player!! Small and personal makes this a place to stay. The staff and the Pantry for breakfast were great.

Great room with balcony overlooking the harbour and city. Clean, comfortable, well furnished including, a fridge minibar, free WiFi. Stefan was very helpful, with checking in and local advice re. parking. We would definitely stay there again

We stayed here in November 2023 for the first few days of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect start! The lovely staff welcomed us with a fruit platter, wine and chocolates to celebrate and upgraded our room. The suite was stunning. A free standing bath, views of Wellington, and gorgeous mid century furniture. The bed was super comfy, toiletries and tea/coffee provided was all very thoughtful (fairtrade tea and compostable mini toiletries). His and hers sinks, a mini balcony and lots more. We can’t recommend Ohtel enough. Thank you to the lovely team for making our stay so great!

A lovely hotel with lots of lovely design elements and very friendly staff. Highly recommended with nice touch i.e. your milk in a small glass bottle and a lovely made breakfast. Your room has space and lovely furniture too, and the supermarket is just across the road.

Inner city Wellington hotels have been very hit and miss for me over the years, but this team did not put a foot wrong. From the phone booking to the room upgrade to the fabulous room itself and the warm and welcoming staff, I cannot rate Ohtel highly enough. So pleased I stayed here for a recent business overnighter, and cannot wait to return. Thank you, team! Keep up the great work.

Extremely comfortable and well equipped room. Beautiful bathroom . Great attention to detail. Staff friendly and helpful. The cafe/bar was cosy and convenient for a solo traveler. Great location. Easy walking distance to city. Will definitely be staying again

The Ohtel is everything you could possibly wish for in a boutique hotel. The room was sunlit with city and water views and very comfortable. The location is ideal with easy walking distance to all amenities. The best feature of all is the very warm and welcoming staff who added the extra touch to ensure an excellent stay. The Pantry provides beautiful food, coffee and service. It was like coming to stay with friends rather than just another guest in a hotel. I look forward to returning again.
