The resort is in a great location if you don’t mind taking a car to Galle or Turtle Bay or Coconut Hill or walking very far down the beach. The sea which is at the front of the hotel is very brown during July time because of the overflow of the river. Also very polluted with plastics. Other beaches nearby are nice and blue. The WiFi in the room was terrible, I needed to leave the room to get signal and even then it wasn’t strong. The fitness room was just a glass room with 3 pieces of equipment, so if you’re paying for that (which I was) don’t! Swimming pool was kept very clean, and so was the room. Beautiful decor and spacious. The shower was outside in a private and enclosed courtyard area which was a surprise! Nobody could see in of course. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, however some younger male staff overstepped their boundaries. If you are looking to pay half board, that does not include lunch, only breakfast and dinner. Additional drinks are also not included. Dinner was delicious! Mostly, a very happy experience.

Excellent location. Quite nearby to mirissa harbour and weligama. Liked the property. They arranged a candle lit dinner setting nearby beach as it was my honeymoon on request for no additional charges. Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast. Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast. Very nice staff. Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned.

Nice place to relax for a few days. Food could be better but staff are very friendly and good to have a chat with whenever 👌🏼

Booked two twin beds but had to share a double. Not convenient for two men but still a really nice stay. Feel like this should have been compensated in some way

The hotel is good, and the service staff are very friendly. But when you come here, don't book a room with a lagoon view. In a small yard outside the hotel, there is no guard and it feels unsafe. The hotel's buffet dinner is delicious. The beach is just outside the main building. There are fewer people than Mirissa. There are some stray dogs on the beach.

The lighting in the room is too dark. This building obviously doesn't have a sea view.

Barman sanding made us some wonderful cocktails on the beach. Amazing place! Would definitely come back here again. Came here over three days while staying at the Mandara Resort Hotel in Marissa. Very quiet in what we were told was the low season.

Bartender Sandun makes very nice cocktails! They taste delicious and look very crafty! We’re a fan! After a hot first summer day in Sri Lanka we stranded at the hotel bar and had some nice drinks. I would recommend the cocktails of Sandun to anyone in need of a refreshment. A perfect touch to our first day of our trip!
