Days Inn by Wyndham Weldon/Roanoke Rapids

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk smelled nice, and the staff was friendly. However, when we went to our building, we found that the pool was closed and looked like it wouldn't ever be again. I had specifically chosen this hotel because my daughter loves to swim. Our "non-smoking" room had a burnt hole in the comforter and smelled really bad. There was hair on the pillows and even a muffin left in the drawer from the previous guest. The refrigerator was dirty, and the bathroom had no toilet paper or holder. It was not at all like the pictures I had seen when booking. I was so disappointed that I wanted to leave and find another hotel or sleep in my car. I ended up staying, but I had to cover the bed and pillow with my own blankets. I don't recommend staying there. Find another place to stay.

I checked in on a Saturday at 3:00 pm. The housekeeping staff was just finishing up. I think the staff did all they could to make things right and the room was fine. Over the next 11 hours, people checked into their rooms in very noisy fashion waking me repeatedly until the last guest screaming outside my door at 2:00 am. This was not the hotel's fault but was the last straw for me. I checked out and hit Rt-95 at 2:20 am.

The property was fine and the staff was excellent. My problem was with ******* my dates got screwed up and despite my immeadiate recognition of this I couldnt fix it. The virtual assistant blamed the property. When in fact the manager charged me for the first night and credited my card in the morning. Expedia's customer service is non existantant. I will never use ******* again. I highly recomend this property book your reservation directly.

Got a smoking room for the weekend. Covers had burn holes in them. Looks as if they don’t sweep very well. And have limited supplies. Booked a room for 4 but we can only have 3 towels and wash cloths.

This was our 3rd hotel in weldon in 3 yrs, and the only one we will come back to. For affordable hotels this stay was excellent, staff was very nice. I think it is on older hotel but updated and clean.

FL 2025 Vacation Door locks were again a problem on one of our rooms and the deadbolt didn’t work at all on Room 309. Had trouble with the TV remote again on one room. Stains were excessive on the room carpet in one room. We will not be returning next year on our FL vacation at the Days Inn.
